Pin Hitters Who Made a Difference at FAST Pre-Nationals 15s

A technical and explosive outside hitter, she brought an interesting skill set to the court and helped her team on both sides of the ball. Despite not being very tall, Smith was one of her team's main scoring options thanks to her ability to get off the floor and her excellent vision, which allows her to find great spots to swing. The outside hitter had a big impact on everything her team did on the court, playing a large role in many areas of the game. Gibson covered a lot of ground in serve-receive and delivered accurate passes all day, keeping TW Skyline in system and facilitating the work of her teammates. Her solid all-around game gave great volume to her team as she was very efficient in everything she did on the court. Johnson was the team's go-to scorer, displaying power and precision to score at the pin and being set fairly often in the middle back position, where she also managed to put the ball down at a good rate. A six-footer, she made a strong impression with her offensive skills, proving to be a realiable point-scorer, who has tremendous potential in that area of the game. Moriarty made the most of her length and high contact point, using it to hit over the top of opposing blockers and smash the ball straight down when she was defended by a single blocker or could find gaps in the block. The team's best player, she carried them offensively with her ability to put the ball down at a consistent rate. Having good size, impressive athleticism and great technical skills, Schneider had the ability to diversify a lot with her swings, and she did that, keeping opposing blockers and defenders on their toes every time she went up at the net.
