Volleyball Club adds another dynamic athlete to an already loaded 2028 group. Moriarty is a true high flyer who can elevate well above ten feet during her attack approach. That type of vertical explosion immediately grabs the attention of college evaluators. Elevation alone is impressive, but when paired with speed and aggressive intent, it becomes a game changing weapon. What separates Reese even further is her versatility. She is capable of attacking effectively from both pins, which makes her incredibly difficult to scheme against. When utilized on the right side in split or one on one situations, especially during out of system plays, she can overwhelm defenders with pace and angle. Her arm swing is violent in the best way, producing heavy contact that leaves little chance for recovery on the other side of the net. There are moments when her kills feel demoralizing to opponents because of the authority behind them. The energy swing after one of her thunderous attacks is noticeable, as teammates and spectators respond immediately. She has the type of athletic profile that can shift momentum in a matter of seconds. With her size, vertical ability, positional flexibility, and raw power, Reese projects as a lethal offensive option for any system that maximizes her speed and explosiveness. The 2028 rankings continue to deepen, and she is a major reason why.

and her rotating during matches. Moriarty was an important offensive weapon for the team, using her length to make contact with the ball at a very high point and finishing with power and precision. The outside hitter also served and passed at a high level and was very consistent in every aspect of her game.

Moriarty was with the Episcopal team that ended up in second place with five wins and one loss. She made it to the All-Tournament Team alongside two other teammates and was pivotal in their strong campaign. The sophomore was the team’s most reliable scoring threat, using her high contact and her heavy right arm to consistently put the ball down at the pin. Despite being one of the most explosive and powerful hitters in the event, Moriarty also displayed excellent vision and discipline to use tips and shots to beat blockers and defenders when not set in the ideal conditions.

Moriarty featured for the HJV 15 Premier team that ended the weekend with two victories and three losses. A six-footer, she made a strong impression with her offensive skills, proving to be a realiable point-scorer, who has tremendous potential in that area of the game. Moriarty made the most of her length and high contact point, using it to hit over the top of opposing blockers and smash the ball straight down when she was defended by a single blocker or could find gaps in the block. Her passing wasn’t always elite, but it was certainly good enough to keep the team in system, and she also displayed great determination to play defense.
