From high-flying attacks to gritty defensive battles, the talent on the court was impossible to ignore. College coaches lined the courts, clipboards in hand, as standout players stepped up in big ways. I spent the day locked in—watching, rewinding, and taking notes—and here are the athletes who made a serious impression on Day 2 in Orlando.   These are the performances I witnessed firsthand, and they're absolutely worth your attention.    At AAU Nationals, [player_tooltip player_id='338394' first='Meaghan' last='Kreiser'] is proving herself as an explosive and reliable attacker. She brings speed, power, and sharp court awareness to every swing, making her a constant threat at the net. With a quick first step and fast arm, Meaghan attacks with purpose—mixing in angles, off-speed shots, and high hands to keep defenses guessing. She stays active in transition, communicates with intent, and is always available, even in out-of-system situations. Meaghan plays with intensity and consistency, standing out as a go-to scorer every time she takes the court.   ~Theresa @prepdigdakotas     [player_tooltip player_id='455600' first='Kaydence' last='Fjerstad'] is a dominant presence in the middle at AAU Nationals, making an impact on both sides of the net. She closes blocks with precision, times her penetration well, and reads the setter quickly—shutting down key attackers with smart positioning. Offensively, she runs a fast tempo and connects cleanly on quick sets and slides, using her length and explosiveness to score efficiently.
