I have heard of Fjerstad before this weekend but I hadn’t seen her play in person. Thus, I made sure to carve out time to catch her in action and let me say, she did not disappoint. She is a quick, strong, athletic, and powerful attacker. She is also versatile and can dominate from anywhere on the court. I watched her put down several kills from the middle and pins, and then also take some huge swings from the backcourt. Sky is the limit for this kid. She is going to go far in the volleyball world.

Kaydence was an absolute standout and one of my favorite players in the first session. Her relentless hustle and determination were unmatched—she gave 110% on every play. Fjerstad either did positionals with the pin hitters or is a ninja that somehow escaped my watch over the middles. One thing I loved was her ability to really play anywhere in the front row and change between positions seamlessly. Fjerstad stood out right away because of her length and athleticism. She kept your attention with an explosive approach and terminal swing.
