Senior Class Shines at LOVB Recruiting Showcase

She's prepared herself for what should be an opportunity for a bigger role for a Wahlert program hit hard by graduation. Elbert is experienced at setting and hitting opposite pin. It's a skill set that also would work on the outside. Elbert has improved the most as a hitter since the last club campaign. Better consistency is getting the ball down is the main reason. She's raised the level of her play, becoming a more consistent all-around volleyball player. She's built on a fantastic junior season for the Panthers that saw her deliver 197 kills, 215 digs and 32.0 blocks. Clark stands out for her athleticism and versatility. She can play multiple spots consistently and effectively. A hammer on the outside for Mount Pleasant, Clark's explosiveness also makes her a formidable middle. She led the team in assists (547), and ranked second in kills (208), digs (288) and blocks (29.0). A multi-sport athlete, Boriskey doesn't get as much exposure in club because of her other pursuits. When you watch her play volleyball, however, the potential is evident. A true six-rotation performer for the Vikings, Boriskey hits and defends at all three front-row spots. She looks comfortable wherever she turns up in the back. Boriskey is a good athlete with beneficial height and length for the setter position. She also developed through reps on the program's junior varsity squad, and the extra practice is showing this club season. At the LOVB Midwest Recruiting Showcase in early June, Logue looked like a student-athlete capable of taking on a bigger role in 2025. With Mount Vernon having been hit hard by graduation, the opportunity should be there for her. Logue is sound in serve-receive thanks to quickness and anticipation. She led the squad with 413 assists and her 224 digs ranked third on the team. Grennan displayed the versatile skill set that allowed her to pile up those statistics when she was competing at the LOVB Midwest Recruiting Showcase in June. Grennan delivers the ball consistently on point to all positions and holds up well in serve-receive. She paced them with 297 digs and ranked second with 193 kills. Lacking the prototypical height for an outside, Scott gets the job done with athleticism and aggressiveness. She attacks, challenging the opponent to make a play. A well-rounded volleyball player, Scott moves well and possesses sharp reflexes, making her effective in the back row. She defends at the net as well. As successful as she was last season, her play during the LOVB Midwest Recruiting Showcase in June proved she can make an even bigger impact in 2025.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
