Absolute 16 Pink

The Northern Cali Region has quite a few squads who will be looking to show their skills this summer. Absolute 16 Pink is headed to USAV Nationals in the Liberty Division and they look hungry to prove that they belong. They had a solid season playing well in national qualifiers and have a few stars that they will rely on to make a good run this summer in Dallas. Left side hitter [player_tooltip player_id='523414' first='Zoie' last='Halsing'] knows how to score the ball with tough swings and amazing off-speed shots. She uses some great court vision to see the blockers and holes in the defense when she goes up to swing. This squad has strong servers and really puts a lot of pressure on the opposition with it. Then their defense led by middles like [player_tooltip player_id='508094' first='Sydney' last='Ryssemus'] is stout. She uses her long reach to stifle opposing attackers. Setter [player_tooltip player_id='744914' first='Katie' last='Lazzareschi'] runs a nice 5-1 offense and is not afraid to battle at the net. She uses her middles to run slides while in the front row to keep the offensive system aggressive from pin to pin. Six rotation left side Haley Boyarski is one of their big weapons who can score whether she is in the front row or the back row. They run her early and often for a reason. Libero [player_tooltip player_id='744436' first='Sena' last='Hens'] is a workhorse in the back row and covers the floor very well. She has every skill that you would want in a libero and is one of the big reasons why they have earned their spot at nationals. We will be watching them closely to see if they can make some waves in their division.

Integrity 16 Intense Blue

This North Texas Region squad put on a show at the Northern Lights National Qualifier when they earned their Liberty division bid. Libero Mia Marcantonio is one of those serve receivers who can take away half the court in any rotation and still be able to midline the ball due to her fast footwork and awesome angles with her platform. Her coaches and teammates trust her and for good reason. Alena Curtis is a super athletic and strong middle who will showcase very well against top talent. She has done so all season long and they will need her to score points. Left side Naveah Richardson is a high-flying attacker who can bang with the best of them. She jumps hard with malicious intent to do damage on opponents. Reece Jackson and Mackenzie Howard do a fabulous job of running the 6-2 offense. They both move the ball around well and have great location with each set. Reagan Ingram and Cambree Blackmon also provide a lot of much needed firepower for this awesome squad. They will all need to be on their game this summer to go on a good run in the Liberty division. We will be there in person to keep an eye on them.
