The Ann Arbor area is putting together an outstanding group of senior leaders coming into the 2025 prep season.

Here's the second part of our 2-part look at what 2026 talents are leading the way in the Ann Arbor area.

[player_tooltip player_id='226905' first='Delaney' last='Gilmore'], S Brighton/L2

Gilmore is a savvy setter with a lot of experience against great competition. That's led her to being able to play with a lot of instinct and anticipation, and not have to overthink much on the court. Gilmore isn't afraid to take some chances, and she also provides good defensive support in the setter role.

[player_tooltip player_id='261202' first='Peyton' last='Lowes'], S Northville/L2

Lowes hasn't had the exposure at the high school level as many others on this list, but that is because Northville had one of the all-time greats running the offense. Coming into her senior season, it's a great chance for Lowes to show what she has on the club circuit, that's she is a talented setter that can get great swings out of her hitters.

[player_tooltip player_id='261208' first='Skylar' last='Marteen'], OH Northville/L2

Marteen saw her 2024 prep season end during the playoffs due to a knee injury, but she was rolling prior to that. Marteen was already a powerful attacker, but showed great gains in her blocking and defensive play. Though she wasn't on the floor for the state final, Marteen was a key piece to the Mustangs winning it all last year.

[player_tooltip player_id='226911' first='Riley' last='Pilat'], OH Plymouth Christian/Michigan Elite

Pilat is another player that can play on the outside or the middle. She's got great instincts on offense and defense, as she can take over a match with her hitting or her blocking. Pilat looks technically sound on her swing and delivery, and her timing gets sharper and sharper with her blocking.

Madison Slack, S/RS Milan/L2

A 6-foot setter, Slack is a player that seems to be a little under the radar, but definitely should be drawing plenty of attention this fall. With each week, her pacing and decision-making seem to get faster. She's very comfortable on the right side, or running the offense. The game should be slowing down for her this fall, which could lead to some really dominant performances.

[player_tooltip player_id='537079' first='Kaylyn' last='Tuck'], OH Northville/L2

Tuck is a recent commitment to Aquinas College and that program got a great hitter. She is able to play on the outside or the middle. Over the last year, Tuck has really shown how versatile a player she can be. She has a lot of competitive fire that she brings to the court, and shows that in her ferocious play.
