My biggest advice to incoming freshman volleyball players is to stay coachable, work hard, and never underestimate the power of being a great teammate. You might feel nervous or unsure at first, but every rep, practice, and game is a chance to grow. Don't be afraid to ask questions, cheer others on, and bring energy to the court those things matter more than you think. Confidence comes with time, so trust the process and enjoy every moment.

Remember you are a student - athlete so keep those grades up. Most importantly, enjoy every moment, the wins, the losses, the awkward high-fives. You're just getting started, and greatness takes time, you got this 💪🏼 Let's gooo! 🏐🔥

To incoming freshmen volleyball players— be yourself and play your personal best at all times! There is nobody else like you on the court so never try to be someone you're not. Mainly: focus on your mindset!!! Last season taught me that putting in effort, having a positive attitude, and being consistent are more important than being perfect. Volleyball is a game of mistakes, there is no such thing as perfection. As long as you're learning and giving 100%, you're growing. To whoever is reading this— I hope you have an awesome freshman year!
