Houston Freshman Showcase Players to Watch

Combining outstanding technical skills and very interesting physical tools, she was a major contributor to the team, executing plays with a high level of efficiency. Penberthy thrived with her balanced distribution and was incredibly accurate and efficient with her decision-making. Her game is very smooth, as she moves very well on the court and the ball comes out of her hand very naturally. Because of her long frame and excellent body control, Ortmeier does a great job of reaching tight passes up at the net and offers a solid blocking presence. Combining impressive athleticism and outstanding court vision, she was one of the team's main scoring options at the pin. Gottsman can jump out of the gym and has a quick and powerful right arm, but what sets her apart offensively is he ability to see the court and find solutions to difficult situations.
