Macomb County can get overlooked at times for its impact on volleyball in the state.

However, that won't be the case this fall.

The county has a lot of top talent, led by a strong group of seniors. Here's a look at some of the top dogs in Macomb County for the Class of 2026.

[player_tooltip player_id='385780' first='Isabella' last='Allen'], DS/L Henry Ford II/Legacy

Macomb County has a lot of defensive talent and Allen is part of that group. She's got a good first step in the back row to give herself a chance to get to most attacks. Her quick reaction time also allows her to make some challenging plays to keep the ball in play. On top of her digging ability, Allen has a really strong serve.

[player_tooltip player_id='226894' first='Gina' last='Fedrigo'], RS Eisenhower/Legacy

A player that has truly set the bar for a right side, Fedrigo has locked up a home at Florida International for the fall of 2026. She's got tremendous power and consistency on the right side of the net. If needed, she can also slide into a middle position. But, her high finishing rate at a right side helps open up her entire team's offense.

[player_tooltip player_id='446700' first='Liliana' last='Gegovic'], MB Eisenhower/Legacy

Gegovic is part of a potent and experienced attack at Eisenhower. She's been a solid presence in the middle, but can also shift to the outside if needed. She's shown improved court vision over the last year and does a good job of attacking sideline to sideline. Gegovic should be a big asset this fall as Eisenhower looks like a top D1 contender in 2025.

Chloe Johnson, MB Utica/Legacy

Johnson is listed at 5'10” but she plays longer with a lengthy reach, and good lift off the floor. Johnson has shown the ability to get well above the net and wait on the ball to deliver a devastating attack. Her blocking instincts have shown improvement as well. This fall should be a big opportunity for her to raise her stock.

[player_tooltip player_id='226906' first='Reagan' last='Lesley'], OH Chippewa Valley/Michigan Elite

A recent commit to Michigan Tech, Lesley is a versatile hitter that has put a lot of work in becoming a polished all-around prospect. She's got the hitting power at the net, but she's also added a lot to her defensive play and court awareness. This fall should be a great opportunity for Lesley to prove she's among the best in the class.

[player_tooltip player_id='226910' first='Kayla' last='Ostrander'], DS/L Eisenhower/Legacy

An Eastern Michigan commit, Ostrander is relentless with her play in the back row. She's gotten to so many balls in her career, that it becomes expected that a team is going to need 2-3 attempts to finish off a point. Ostrander has tremendous instincts, but also knows how to alter her position to put good form on her digs and keep her offense in-system.

[player_tooltip player_id='490036' first='Emma' last='Rosenow'], OH Romeo/Michigan Elite

Rosenow is a player that can be utilized up front or in the back because she's so polished in her defensive play and is an athletic hitter all in the same package. Rosenow allows for a lot of roster flexibility, but when she's on the outside, she's making her team a strong defensive unit. On the attack, Rosenow has a lot of explosiveness in her swing.

[player_tooltip player_id='489427' first='Victoria' last='Weingartz'], S/DS Romeo/Michigan Elite

Weingartz is a great example of a utility player, as she's played every position throughout her volleyball career. That experience has helped her at the two key positions of setter and libero. She has a great understanding of everyone's role on the court and what is needed out of her play to help her teammates succeed. She brings great energy to the floor and is going to find a way to make an impact.
