Use code “EllisDig2025” to get $10 off your registration.*</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Macomb County has a great crop of talent in the Class of 2027.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Highlighted by the Utica Eisenhower roster, this county will be ready to put on a show during the 2025 prep season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Here's a look at nine 2027 standouts from Macomb County.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='523831' first='Anna' last='Bellomo'], OH Eisenhower/Michigan Elite</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Bellomo has found consistency with her swing and knows where to play the ball that best fits her game. She's also worked hard to be a reliable defender that can make a big impact with her passing and serve receive. Bellomo should be able to take her game to another level over the next year, playing with a talented Eisenhower roster.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='442999' first='Olivia' last='Berishaj'], MB Eisenhower/Legacy</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Berishaj is a versatile middle that uses her quickness to finish off defenses in a variety of ways. Her slide attacks are at a high level, which complements her power attacks from the middle. She's got a lot of lift off the floor as well, which leads to highlight-reel kills each match. Berishaj is also a high-effort player, which is something teammates feed off of.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='454359' first='Elise' last='Biermann'], OH Eisenhower/Michigan Elite</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Biermann had her outstanding 2024 prep season end on a down note with an injury in the state quarterfinal, but everyone still was able to see just how high her potential is. She continued to put in work on her game as she dealt with the injury during club season, and when she is back to 100%, she will be a real force for Ike. She's got a well-balanced game and the ability to score from anywhere on the floor.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='807754' first='Rease' last='Buza'], DS/L Eisenhower/Michigan Elite</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Buza is a talented defender on a roster with other talented defenders. She's had to raise her game to compete at the high level Eisenhower plays, but she's held her own well and should continues to grow as a player the next two years. Buza displays a lot of intelligence and awareness on the floor, which goes well with her quickness and athleticism.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='454366' first='Jordyn' last='Jones'], OH Richmond/Michigan Elite</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jones has established herself as one of the rising stars in this class due to her powerful attacks. She's got a lot of explosiveness at the net and can jump with the best of them. She combines that with a smooth swing that makes her difficult to stop once she gets going. Jones is also continuing to add to her defensive game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='454393' first='Ryley' last='Pastuschyn'], OH/DS Richmond/Michigan Elite</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This upcoming junior has a well-rounded game, as she can rack up digs as quickly as she can kills. When it comes to her attacks, Pastuschyn has a violent swing that has bad intentions, which allows her to power through blockers and challenge defenders with a lot of velocity. As a defender, she is very scrappy and willing to throw her body on the line to come through with a timely dig.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='490033' first='Christina' last='Rosenow'], MB Romeo/Michigan Elite</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Rosenow is a 6-foot middle that shows good awareness at the net. She reads the defenses well and is able to finish at the net with power or with offspeed shots. Rosenow mixes up the locations well and keeps the defenses guessing. As her timing and footwork continue to get better, Rosenow should become a dominant middle in this class.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='454358' first='Lily' last='Tripi'], S/RS Eisenhower/Michigan Elite</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Tripi is the glue that puts together a talented Eisenhower offense. She's an athletic setter that stands 6'1” and makes a difference in every aspect of the game. Tripi shows great decision making while also being able to push a tremendous tempo with her footwork and touch on the ball.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='442978' first='Eleanor' last='Williams'], RS/S Romeo/Michigan Elite</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Williams had a great club season on the right side for Michigan Elite. She was able to lock up her side of the court with devastating attacks and relentless blocking. Williams brings a lot of leadership qualities to the floor as well, which should allow her to be someone that Romeo can turn to in pressure situations this fall.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
