Dallas Freshman Showcase: Outsides Volume 1

<p>There was a strong showing from the freshman class at the Dallas Freshman Showcase, and I am going to do my best to cover them all in the next several articles. Let's start with outside hitters from the event. They were amazing and so fun to watch that I cannot wait to talk about them. Let's get started on that analysis and hopefully get to know these athletes who will be dazzling us for the next four years of high school.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='768950' first='Cailyn' last='Gaines']</h2>   <p>Gaines is a 5'8" outside hitter from Mansfield Timberview and can be found during the club season playing for NRG 14 Ampd Navy. Gaines is a dynamic outside hitter who combines agility with power, consistently delivering clutch plays that energize her team. Her relentless work ethic helps demonstrate her commitment to growth, and her quick reactions on the court promise a bright future in high school volleyball.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='770019' first='Lillian' last='Lyman']</h2>   <p>Lyman is a 5'8" outside hitter from Mansfield Legacy and plays during the club season for NRG 14 Ampd Navy. Lyman stands out for her versatile attacking skills and exceptional court awareness. She seamlessly transitions between offense and defense, making her an asset on the court. Her training so far has helped develop her leadership qualities and competitive edge.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='529055' first='Skye' last='Lincoln']</h2>   <p>Lincoln is a 5'10" outside hitter from Wakeland High School and plays for Dallas Skyline 15 Royal Ryan for the club season. Lincoln is a tall and athletic outside hitter known for her impressive vertical leap and powerful attack. Her ability to read the game and deliver accurate hits keeps opponents guessing, and her work during the off-season shows in her current development and her potential to be a major impact during upcoming seasons.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='847185' first='Bree' last='Carethers']</h2>   <p>Carethers is a 5'9" outside hitter from Coppell High School and plays club ball at TAV 14 Black. Carethers brings a spirited energy and relentless drive to every match. Her finesse in placement and tactical awareness on the court allows her to attack from all angles, making her a multidimensional threat and a key player to watch for her leadership potential.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='752009' first='Kalia' last='Hart']</h2>   <p>Hart is a 5'11" outside hitter from McKinney Boyd High School and plays for Arete NT 14-1 club team. Hart exemplifies athleticism and determination. During the club season, she plays for TAV 14 Black. Robinson displays remarkable promise as an outside hitter. Her powerful attack and positive demeanor under pressure motivate her teammates, and her training gives her a solid foundation for future success. She is a rising star with immense potential.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='778479' first='Marley' last='Gilbreath']</h2>   <p>Gilbreath is a 5'10" outside hitter from Centennial-Frisco High School and plays club ball for 1 United National 15-1 Blue. Gilbreath is known for her versatility and resilience. Her consistent performance at the showcase reflects her dedication to improving her skills, and her sharp attacking presence makes her a formidable opponent on the court.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='579122' first='Aaria' last='Bruner']</h2>   <p>Bruner is a 5'8" outside hitter from Mansfield High School and plays ball during the club season at 360 14 Kaos Black. Bruner combines natural talent with a fierce competitive spirit. Her ability to deliver powerful hits, coupled with her enthusiasm and leadership, sets her apart as a player destined to leave a lasting impact on her team's success.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Brielle Norris</h2>   <p>Norris is a 5'7" outside hitter from North Forney and plays club ball for [program_tooltip program_id='431200' first='Madfrog' last=''] Black. Norris stands out with her energetic approach and strategic attacking style. Her experience in club volleyball with Madfrog Black enables her to adapt quickly to match situations, and her positive attitude and determination promise a bright future. Norris was flying at the showcase and is a deadly force at the net. I was very impressed with her ability.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='846968' first='Tenley' last='Walters']</h2>   <p>Walters is a 5'11" outside hitter from Rockwall High School, playing club volleyball for Skyline 15 Royal David. Walters possesses a combination of height, strength, and agility that makes her a standout outside hitter. Idar is known for her resilience and tactical intelligence. Her height and agility allow her to position herself well for offensive opportunities, and her work at the showcase displays her commitment to advancing her skills.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Delilah Calderon</h2>   <p>Calderon is a 5'7" outside hitter from Nolan Catholic High School. VIP is her club team's home. Calderon oozes enthusiasm and talent. Her rising ability as an outside hitter, nurtured by her team experiences throughout school, her club experiences, and her determination to grow, makes her a player to watch as she continues to develop and make significant plays for her high school team in the next few years.</p>   <p></p>
