[player_tooltip player_id='529945' first='Caroline' last='Wright'] was the athlete I chose from the Illinois Stock Up Showcase. She is a MB who caught my eye along with other coaches eyes while competing in drills, free play, and scrimmages. She personified was Avoli stands for and that's leadership, sportsmanship, and relentlessness. What I liked about her was that you could tell she is a competitor and was there to compete, but, at the same time everyone seemed to enjoy her company. She was refreshing to watch. In the video below you can see her skill set.

Caroline is 6'1' and is part of the class of 2027, and plays for [program_tooltip program_id='431567' first='Adversity' last=''] Volleyball. She has a great motor on her and was a fantastic teammate, motivator, hard worker, and performer at the showcase. I will give one example, it was a super long volley, both teams were going back in fourth, for probably over a minute, and she never missed a coverage at the net, to go block, to set up and take her swings, and finished it off with a block. She moved really great for her position, had really good feet, and could tell she's been coached up really well. If you don't get up and press the net she's going to hit it down on you as well. She fully understands her position and has made her mark as a top MB.
