Last season, Dakota Valley came within striking distance of the ultimate prize, but the championship slipped away. Their 31-6 record was nothing short of impressive, yet this group left the court knowing they have unfinished business. That loss has been fuel all offseason—every rep, every lift, every open gym has had that sting in the back of their minds. This fall, they're coming back sharper, hungrier, and ready to battle.

Yes, they graduated some key leaders, but if you think that's going to slow this program down, think again. The next wave of leaders has already stepped in, and the returning core is a nightmare matchup for anyone standing on the other side of the net.

Bria Perryman (Setter) – The quarterback of this offense, Perryman runs the show with poise and precision. She has the court vision to spread the ball and keep blockers guessing, and she isn't afraid to make the aggressive set when it counts. Her connection with her hitters is dialed in, making her one of the most exciting playmakers in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id='842864' first='Jaidyn' last='Jund'] (Right Side) – A blocking wall and a scoring threat, Jund brings physicality at the pin and thrives on shutting down top attackers. Her ability to transition quickly from defense to offense makes her a steady force in tight matches.

[player_tooltip player_id='389842' first='Samantha' last='Kimbell'] (Outside) – Terminal. That's the word for Kimbell's arm. She swings hard and finds ways to score, whether that's tooling the block, going sharp cross, or ripping the seam. She's also a steady serve-receive passer who keeps the offense in system.

[player_tooltip player_id='389837' first='Claire' last='Munch'] (Outside) – Munch brings versatility and grit. She's just as comfortable going for the high deep corner as she is rolling a ball smartly into space. Her defensive reads and coverage play give the Panthers more ball control in extended rallies.

[player_tooltip player_id='446330' first='Coryn' last='Kimbell'] (Outside/Libero) – Whether she's on the back line or swinging from the pin, Kimbell is a game-changer. She's quick, explosive, and has a defensive motor that never stops. Her ability to take over a match in multiple roles makes her an invaluable weapon.

[player_tooltip player_id='488558' first='Skylar' last='Anderson'] (Middle) – A high-flying presence at the net, Anderson times her block well and is quick in transition. She can hit the quick, slide, or push, forcing opponents to respect the middle every rotation.

Madie Munch (Setter) – When she steps in, the offense doesn't miss a beat. Munch delivers clean, hittable balls and brings a calming energy to the court. Her willingness to chase down second balls keeps rallies alive.

[player_tooltip player_id='829797' first='Aubree' last='Worden'] (Middle) – Young, but already a problem for opponents. Worden's quickness off the net and ability to close blocks make her a defensive weapon, and she's developing a powerful swing that will only get harder to stop.

With this core group already bringing firepower, court IQ, and battle-tested leadership, the Panthers are primed for another deep postseason run. What makes this season even more compelling is the anticipation of which athletes will rise from the underclassmen ranks—or even surprise from outside the program—to earn a spot in this already stacked lineup. Every addition brings a new layer of depth, versatility, and competitive edge. Every season writes its own story, and the 2025 chapter for Dakota Valley has all the makings of a thriller—loaded with talent, driven by unfinished business, and ready to keep fans on the edge of their seats from the opening serve to the final point in November.
