The fall season is right upon us and what better way to kick it all off than with the Prep Dig Stock Up!

For the third year in a row, Prep Dig has offered one of the top prospective showcases in the country for athletes entering their sophomore year and older. For the Michigan crew, this has been a baseboard for many of the state's top talent to display their growth. Like the saying goes, things get better with time. That is exactly the way to sum up these athletes and this year's edition of the Stock Up.

Last but not least, let's take a look at some of the best pin attacking prospects at the Michigan Stock Up Showcase.

[player_tooltip player_id='569773' first='Skylar' last='Ignash'] - Cass City

We have seen a lot of this player throughout the 2024-25 season. However, not quite like this. Primarily, [player_tooltip player_id='569773' first='Skylar' last='Ignash'] has been introducing herself as a promising middle blocker. But going into the fall, Ignash is switching over to the pins and this means absolute trouble for anyone seeing her across the net. On the left pin, Ignash seems to really soar through the air. Add in her whip of an arm, Ignash is treacherous. Be on the look out for this one as she continues to develop in her new found position.

[player_tooltip player_id='808192' first='Reese' last='Williams'] - Roscommon

Right along Ignash, [player_tooltip player_id='808192' first='Reese' last='Williams'] is another REALLY exciting product out of the Division 3 space. Roscommon may be the team to beat this year. That is very much because of the play of Williams. She jumps well, she sees the court well and she just has it. The game seemingly comes too easy to this burgeoning superstar. As a freshman, Williams was named to the All-State list. This fall, she could very much make an argument for herself as a player of the year candidate.

[player_tooltip player_id='852447' first='Abby' last='Lenda'] - Lake Orion

Lake Orion is going to have a lot of strong pieces to put together a strong run this season. Not only do they have strength, but they have youth on their side. [player_tooltip player_id='852447' first='Abby' last='Lenda'] is a type of player, come November, that could be a real game changer. A bit on the 'undersized' side of things, Lenda brings a well-rounded game that really negates what she lacks physically. A great spin on the ball and an eye for the court, Lenda could become a very frustrating scorer.

[player_tooltip player_id='560553' first='Macaire' last='Kudary'] - Traverse City Central

I always love to see the players that return to the Stock-Up after lighting things up as Freshman at the Freshman Showcase. [player_tooltip player_id='560553' first='Macaire' last='Kudary'] caught my attention last summer at the Frosh Showcase, and she is really impressing me now. A full year of high school and club under this one's belt did the game good. Kudary is hitting with a lot of range and a lot of pace. She's also developed a couple other skills along the way. She is not just a pin, but she can own the net in the middle or take the game into her hands as a setter in a pinch. A true do-it-all.

[player_tooltip player_id='587002' first='Cydnee' last='Speights'] - Mercy

Like Kudary, [player_tooltip player_id='587002' first='Cydnee' last='Speights'] is another one that caught my eye a year ago as a freshman. As well, she also benefitted greatly from a highly successful year in high school and club. Playing along some of the best players in the state at Mercy, getting to sit and learn from them did a real number to the IQ. Speights is still a heavy-banging attacker, but now developed a sense for the when and where. Something, as it develops, will make her an even more dangerous player.

[player_tooltip player_id='587007' first='Julia' last='Kavaliauskas'] - South Lyon

With a player like this, South Lyon could become a very dangerous dark horse team this year. [player_tooltip player_id='587007' first='Julia' last='Kavaliauskas'] is another young athlete, who I have seen early on in her career. It's been a hot minute since then, and needless to say, I am very pleased with her jump in game. Kavaliauskas is hitting the ball harder, making smarter plays and seemingly developed a much deeper understanding of the game. She and South Lyon will be a group to watch this fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='587016' first='Lillian' last='Bowman'] - Plymouth Christian

It has been a couple years since we have seen Plymouth Christian make a big fuss in the Division 3 game. Always a highly touted contender, but always a step or two behind. If there is a year that changes, it could be this one. [player_tooltip player_id='587016' first='Lillian' last='Bowman'] will look to be the catalyst of that. With a heavy arm, high IQ and a lot of grit to her game, Bowman could be the player that propels PCA back into the mainstream. We're entering the ten year mark since their last State Title, maybe this is the year that ends the drought behind the Bowman boom.
