The Class of 2028 showed up for the Michigan Stock Up Showcase this past weekend.

The incoming sophomores were the most represented of any class, and it featured a lot of impressive talent.

Here's the second part of player evaluations from this class.

[player_tooltip player_id='583927' first='Kailyn' last='Spolsky'], MH OL St. Mary's/L2

This 6-foot middle brings a lot of length to the court and she definitely creates problems for opposing hitters with her length and ability to get off the floor. Offensively, she seems controlled and doesn't make big mistakes, but I do think there's another gear she can hit to take her game up another level.

[player_tooltip player_id='740623' first='Rilynn' last='Strain'], OH South Lyon East/L2

Strain had some really good moments during the Showcase. As a defender, she had good posture and movement to make clean plays in serve receive. On the attack, Strain had a smooth delivery and wasn't afraid to take on some tougher shots to test herself.

[player_tooltip player_id='771242' first='Keelyn' last='Wilson'], S Rochester Adams/Monsters

Wilson showed a lot of determination during the Showcase. When she didn't come up with a dig or had a set that missed the target, she made sure to come through the next chance she had. Wilson still made plenty of good sets and defensive plays along the way, but her drive should help her continue to improve.

[player_tooltip player_id='761443' first='Meg' last='Schreur'], DS/L South Christian/FaR Out

Schreur has a lot of quickness and athleticism, which makes her a dig machine. She got to nearly every ball, no matter how much coach's tried to test her. She showed good awareness of when to use her hands, or go with the traditional dig. Schreur seems to have all the tools to excel at the varsity level.

[player_tooltip player_id='553582' first='Kalina' last='Fast'], OH Waverly/Ballistic

Fast shows good potential. She's got the athleticism to shine as an outside. At times she looked a little intimidated, but when she got settled in, she displayed that she's got the skills to compete with anyone. Fast has a good jump off the floor and can really power through the ball, while her defensive instincts show promise.

[player_tooltip player_id='569773' first='Skylar' last='Ignash'], OH Cass City/Michigan Elite

Ignash is a player that has already been in some high-pressure situations and proven she can handle it. This Showcase didn't show us anything we didn't already know, Ignash is a high-level prospect that could become a dominant hitter in this class. She's got the length at 6'0”, but combines that with impressive athleticism and a fast arm.

[player_tooltip player_id='808192' first='Reese' last='Williams'], OH Roscommon/Mid-Michigan Aces

This was a big opportunity for Williams and she shined. The Northern Michigan prospect kept coming through with moments that couldn't big ignored. Each time I saw a good play by No. 95, I would look at the roster sheet and see it was Williams doing it again. She's got an impressive swing that is effective on the pins or in the back row. She mixes up her offense but puts in the work defensively as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='852447' first='Abby' last='Lenda'], OH Lake Orion/High Performance

Lenda was a hitter that looks like she is primed for a breakout year. She has impressive hang time and finds another gear at the end of her swing that produces some missiles. Those didn't ever let up, either. If her defensive play can line up with her attack ability, Lenda is going to be a difference-maker.

Jenavieve Kattoo, DS/L Marian/High Performance

Kattoo never showed much emotion, staying pretty even keel throughout the Showcase. She made a lot of tough digs, including some really challenging dives and sprawls. However, you wouldn't have known it by her facial reaction. She just dusted herself off and got back to work.

[player_tooltip player_id='747705' first='Alana' last='Lowe'], DS/L Northville/Legacy

Lowe looks like a promising defensive prospect. She was well-coached and took advice from coaches and was able to quickly apply it. She had very active eyes in the back row, doing a good job of seeing where the play was going and anticipating where she needed to be to make a dig.
