Stock Up Showcase Preview: 2028 Prospects

The 6-foot hitter shows really good agility around the floor and brings the same powerful arm we have seen out of Cass City the last four years.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='579164' first='Ava' last='Rewalt'], OH/DS Richmond</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Rewalt can do a little bit of everything on the court, but do it at a high level. She can cover a wide range in the back row, but also has the athleticism and fundamental skills to be an effective six-rotation outside. Her feel for the play and court awareness are among the best in the class.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='569772' first='Lauren' last='Sheldon'], OH/MB Stoney Creek</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Sheldon made her presence known at least year's Freshman Showcase and she has only raised her game from there. Her hitting is undeniable, as she's got tons of power and a technically smooth swing that delivers time and again. You won't be able to avoid Sheldon, as her play immediately grabs your attention.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='587002' first='Cydnee' last='Speights'], OH Mercy</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Speights is another powerhouse arm that will put down some kills that leave the crown in awe. She likes to challenge herself, which is good to see if you are a scout. Speights wants to be in on every rep and every point, and she's adding new facets to her game every time we see her.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='724836' first='Addison' last='Weber'], OH Ubly</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Weber is another player that does a little bit of everything, but proved she can take on a big workload as a freshman and should be in store for more of the same going forward. Despite being from a smaller program, Weber should bring plenty of confidence to the court this weekend.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='526553' first='Liv' last='Wender'], S/OH Lowell</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Wender is an impressive combo player that can excel at both positions. Her setting made a lot of strides over the last year and she looks in command when running an offense. Defensively, Wender is also a strong asset. She pushes herself to make every play she can.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='808192' first='Reese' last='Williams'], OH/MB Roscommon</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Williams is a Northern Michigan talent that is definitely making a name for herself already. She's able to finish anywhere along the net and has some of the best hang time in her class. This will be a great opportunity for her to put the state on notice.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
