The Silver Lake Eagles have been a consistent winning program in recent years.

The 2025 squad returns four starters from last season's 32-10 team, yet will be looking for hitters to step up into key roles as two of their top three kill leaders graduated this spring.

Here is the fifth team preview, as teams will have a full week of practice under their belts after today.

Somehow, I missed seeing the Eagles last season, but I have watched multiple athletes on this roster play club ball.

Silver Lake's tournament on October 4 is locked in as one of the five Saturday Tournaments I plan to scout this fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='459041' first='Jaiden' last='Wise'], 5'8”, OH, '26

Wise returns as the team's top attacker. She recorded 300 kills in 96 sets as a junior. Wise is ranked No. 156 overall in the Class of 2026. She can be counted on as a six-rotation athlete. Her junior season stat line also included 295 digs, 337 serve receptions, and 21 aces.

[player_tooltip player_id='809970' first='Paige' last='Heiman'], 5'11”, MB, '26

Heiman is expected to be the tallest athlete among the Eagles' starters. She is ranked No. 267 overall by Prep Dig Kansas. She led the Eagles last season in blocks with 70. She also recorded 194 kills playing on the front row for Silver Lake.

[player_tooltip player_id='525466' first='Kylie' last='Hanni'], 5'4”, S, ‘27

Hannie is a multi-sport prospect. She is ranked No. 97 overall by Prep Dig Kansas and No. 16 overall by Prep Girls Hoops Kansas. During her sophomore campaign, she recorded 1,025 assists. She is expected to be a three-year starter at setter and could make a run at the school's career assist record. After two seasons, she has 1,229 total assists.

[player_tooltip player_id='809394' first='Jaylie' last='Whitehead'], 5'5”, DS/L, ‘27

Whitehead is expected to wear the libero jersey for the Eagles. Whitehead is ranked No. 104 overall in the Kansas Class of 2027. She registered 455 digs during her sophomore season. She should reach the 1,000-career dig benchmark with a healthy and productive junior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='845699' first='Karys' last='Deiter'], 5'7”, OH, '28

Deiter is another multi-sport prospect ranked by both Prep Network Kansas websites. She is ranked No. 140 overall in the Kansas Class of 2028 by Prep Dig Kansas and is ranked No. 28 overall by Prep Girls Hoops Kansas. I have seen her play basketball, but yet to see her in action on the volleyball court. She collected 135 kills, 84 digs, and 46 blocks as a freshman.

Two unranked athletes to watch are senior right-side hitter Paige Windsor and sophomore middle blocker Kinley Weber.
