Firepower from the Outside: OHs to Watch Pt. 2

If part one of our OHs lineup brought the power, part two is here to remind you that the outside position is also about leadership, ball control, and grit. These six athletes brought consistency, communication, and that X-factor energy their teams needed in critical moments.    Charley plays with the grit and spark coaches love to build around. Her first-step quickness and ability to create offense out of tough situations helped Ringgold stay competitive in long rallies. She's a hard worker on defense and a true effort player who always makes her presence known. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast     While she's known for her backcourt strength, Payton showed her offensive upside during this tournament. Her disciplined footwork and consistent communication made her a valuable six-rotation player. She's one of those rare OHs that transitions from serve receive to swing with seamless control. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast     Brielle was a force at the net, with explosive attacks and aggressive pursuit in coverage. She's a strong blocker and emotional leader for The King's Academy — someone you can trust to take that out-of-system ball in the clutch. Her size and versatility made her difficult to defend.~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast     Estelle's natural athleticism and fast arm swing stood out throughout the weekend. She's strong at the net and quick in transition, with a smooth ability to reset plays. As just a sophomore, she's showing early signs of being a future go-to six-rotation pin hitter. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast     Don't let her height fool you — Rebecca plays with a high IQ and court vision that puts her in scoring position again and again. She's a savvy shot-maker who knows how to find open seams and outsmart the block.
