This week, blockers and hitters across the state are putting on a show—rising above the tape, denying big swings, and taking control of rallies with momentum-shifting plays.   For fans, it's the kind of action that brings a crowd to its feet. For college coaches, it's a chance to see which athletes combine size, timing, and court IQ to make an impact where it matters most. From dominant middles patrolling the center to outsides shutting down the pins, South Dakota's leaders at the net are proving that defense and offense start right up front.   So who's making the biggest statement this week? Let's check out the players who are leading the way at the net in South Dakota.    1. [player_tooltip player_id='835393' first='Madelynn' last='Henry'] | 2025 | OH | Committed to Oregon   Henry sits atop the leaderboard with 124 kills and counting, and she's proving why she's bound for the Pac-12. Her arm speed and ability to terminate from multiple angles make her nearly unstoppable in system, while her control and elevation allow her to score out of system against tough defenses. Henry thrives in high-pressure rotations, consistently side-outing her team with clean first-ball kills. Adelyn Bouman | OH | Uncommitted   Bouman has already produced 114 kills and is quickly establishing herself as a six-rotation outside with high-value upside. Van Hal is confident attacking the back row and brings steady serve-receive skills, giving her strong six-rotation value.
