The 2027 standout outside hitter has continued to stack accolades throughout her career, earning USA Volleyball NTDP recognition, JVA All-National Team honors, First Team All-State selection, and an invitation to the prestigious UA Next stage. Her impact at the high school level has been nothing short of remarkable as well, already surpassing 2,100 career kills and over 1,100 digs with another season still ahead of her. She competes with intensity, holds herself to a high standard, and consistently sets the tone through her preparation and work ethic. Her leadership isn’t just vocal—it’s visible in how she trains, how she competes, and how she represents her team. Why do you want to play college volleyball?
~I have seen both my brothers go through the process of playing college sports. I love playing volleyball, and competing at a high level. The process of getting better everyday is something I find enjoyable!
What does your training schedule look like in-season and off-season?
~In high school season I lift 2-3 times a week around practices, and in the club season I lift 3-4 times a week depending on my tournament schedule. During the club season, I get into the gym as much as possible to get extra serve receive reps in!
How do you balance school, sports, and your personal life?
~When I am not training I am usually doing homework, working (I do nails), or spending time with my family and friends. I try to have people in all areas of my life. I think it’s important to have friends outside of my sport because they help remind me there is more to life than just volleyball. I balance everything by trusting Gods plan for me and my future. Sometimes when I get overwhelmed or anxious about what the future will hold, I just take a breath and remind myself that this is all Gods plan for me!!
What are your strengths and weaknesses as a player?
~I would say one of my big strengths is staying level headed. I try to stay in a zone when I play to truly stay focused on what’s in front of me. When I am focused and having fun, I perform my best. I would say one of my weaknesses is not knowing when my body needs a break. I always want to go go go, and I have a hard time knowing when I really just need to rest.
What are your academic interests or intended major?
~I am looking at sports psychology, business, or coaching right now. I am not 100% sure exactly what I want to do yet, but it would be something alone these lines!

Madelynn is a player I was beyond excited to watch, and she did not disappoint. From the moment she stepped on the court, it was clear—she’s one of the best players I’ve seen. Competing at a high level with Kairos is no easy task, but she rose to the challenge with confidence and dominance.
Her attacks were explosive, her serves nearly unpassable, and her defensive reads were on point. What stood out most? Her ability to execute under pressure—when her coach called a play, she delivered flawlessly. Madelynn is a force on the court and a player that demands attention.~Theresa @prepdigdakotas
