Austin (pictured) has made her contributions from the pins and middle for the defending 8th Region champions. Austin has good instincts on the court. She goes up strong and smacks balls off blockers and can improvise in the middle to push balls to the left and right lines. Austin can also pound balls from the back row, giving the Mustangs an added dimension.

Stinson has had some good moments for the loaded Bruins. Stinson hits nice roll shots to the other side of the court and can hit balls off blockers. Stinson has nice form on the outside. She can be all the more effective with improvement on her speed.

When Cook sees openings in the back, she places balls well there. She is especially good at seeing the left corners and popping balls there. Cook can hit balls off blockers for big points. Cook can turn into a solid hitter if her swing speed improves, giving defensive specialists less time to track down balls.

Stephens gives the Wolves depth at both the middle and the outside. She has good form and placement on balls. Stephens mixes in hard and soft shots to keep defenders guessing. Stephens also makes crisp first touches on balls.

Smith gives Boyle County a nice option in the middle. Smith puts down overpassed balls with one hand. She can hit off blocks and send balls to the back lines or the sidelines for big kills. Smith can take things off hits to land balls in the middle of the court. Smith is also a sound blocker. Smith has 68 kills and 24 solo blocks for the Rebels so far this season.
