Playing all the way around, she excels in ball control and has a high IQ. In the front row, she has a fast approach and strong swing with the ability to hit line, sharp cross, and deep corners. Anderson can read the defense and make smart plays to get the opposing team out of system. Defensively, she has quick blocking footwork and good communication to have a solid block on her hitters. As a server, she has a strong jump float that creates chaos for the other team. Her platform control rarely lets her miss a pass. She can swing around and over blockers making the opposing teams defense work for every ball. In the middle, she skillfully can swing to each sideline and can place the ball in deep corners catching the defense off guard. Her blocking footwork gives her the ability to get in front of her hitter quickly and time the block well. She has high and strong blocking hands and gets many touches. In the back row, Burns has strong platform control and court awareness. She is able to read the opposing hitter to place herself in the best spot to receive the hit. She is efficient at reading the block and making a move to avoid it. Lee can tip, roll shot, or swing around the block and where the defense is not. She is great at watching and reading the defense so she can strategically place the ball where they are not. She has a tall approach and a strong swing allowing her to hit high, hard, and deep into the court. Opatz has the skill to nicely place tips and roll shots to catch the defense off guard. Defensively she has great platform control and can get the ball up to her setter to make the next play.
