Meet the Nominees
Over the course of three intense matchups this week—against Providence (IN), Floyd Central (IN), and Lexington Dunbar—Piper delivered a dominant performance on the court. Racking up 50 kills with an impressive .387 hitting percentage, she was a consistent offensive threat. Defensively, she added 4 blocks and 7 crucial block touches, showing her presence at the net, along with 2 digs and an ace to round out a well-balanced, high-impact week.
Highlights
Jacey Cochran had a huge week, showcasing her all-around talent and leadership on the court. She racked up an impressive 71 kills and 60 digs, playing a key role on both offense and defense. Her efforts contributed to 57 total team points, highlighting her ability to make an impact in every rotation. Jacey continues to be a reliable force for her team, not only through her athletic performance but also through her leadership and positive presence both on and off the court.

Parker had a standout weekend, playing 16 sets and recording 144 assists (9.0 per set). She currently ranks third in Colorado for total assists and first for assists per set, according to MaxPreps. Defensively, she's just as strong with 51 digs (3.2 per set) and 5 blocks (1.0 per match) this season. Running a sharp 5-1 offense, Parker spreads the ball efficiently, already tallying 14 kills with her crafty, precise play.

Olivia led her team to a 5-1 record at the Nike Tournament of Champions in Gainesville, FL (Aug 29–30), helping secure a Gold Bracket title with a comeback win over Orangewood Christian. In the final, she delivered 13 kills, a .393 hitting percentage, and 3 solo blocks. Early in the tournament, Olivia stepped up as both setter and attacker, showing versatility in a key win over Osceola. She spent the rest of the weekend dominating as an outside hitter, finishing with 61 kills (.281 hitting), 9 solo blocks (11 total), and 34 digs to anchor the defense.

Hadley Marti, Class of 2029, made a strong varsity debut for Alexandria Area High School (MN) as they kicked off their season with a thrilling five-set win over Sartell on 8/26. The reigning 2024 state champs relied on Hadley's steady presence, as she tallied 30 assists, 6 digs, 3 kills, and 3 blocks. She came up big in key moments, earning the "Culver's Play of the Game" for a clutch dig.
Highlights
Paisley had an outstanding performance in our first scrimmage against Canton High School. She dominated defensively with 18 digs, keeping rallies alive and showing incredible hustle. On top of that, she added 3 aces at the service line, giving our team a strong boost. Her energy and effort set the tone for the match and made a huge impact for her teammates.

This week, Emma Rosebush stepped into the middle hitter role and made a major impact in two key wins for Holy Cross (3-1 and 3-0). Despite playing out of position, she showed off her athleticism and versatility, racking up 18 kills, 8 blocks, and 4 aces. Her strong court awareness and adaptability kept the offense flowing and the defense sharp. A junior with clear next-level potential, Emma continues to be a standout presence and a dependable leader on the court.

Annika is a setter at St Pete High running a 5-1 as a setter for the second year. Annika had 65 total assists with the first week of the season against Pinellas Park and Gibbs. She leads the 5A District 11 in the number one spot with assists and 10th spot in the 5A category in Florida. She also is in 2nd place for aces in the 5A District 11 the first week of the season.

Londyn kicked off the season with a milestone moment, surpassing 1,000 career digs in a thrilling five-set comeback win over Sleepy Eye. She finished the match with an impressive 28 digs and 22 kills, proving once again she's a force on both sides of the ball. Londyn's leadership and grit set the tone for an exciting start to the season.
