The 2025 prep season has given us enough time to see which players are going to be leaders in their respective categories.

When it comes to the juniors (Class of 2027), here's a look at the ones compiling a lot of assists at the setter position (stats via MaxPreps).

[player_tooltip player_id='512892' first='Brynn' last='Wilcox'], Bloomfield Hills

Wilcox has been seeing action since she was a freshman, but this year she looks to have really taken a big step in her play. She's at 656 assists, which is approaching a career-high already. Even more impressive is that Bloomfield Hills is hitting .323 as a team.

[player_tooltip player_id='454358' first='Lily' last='Tripi'], Utica Eisenhower

Tripi is a long setter that has proven to be a real difference-maker for Eisenhower, helping take the Eagles to the top contenders in the state. She's at 578 assists this fall, as she looks to approach another season with over 1,000 assists. Tripi has Ike hitting .312 on the year.

[player_tooltip player_id='486863' first='Lindsey' last='Schwegman'], Orchard Lake St. Mary's

The 5'11” junior is doing a great job for the Eaglets this fall. She's at 559 assists, a career high for her, but there's no ceiling for where she can go as a player. Schwegman is playing with good tempo and feel right now.

[player_tooltip player_id='570463' first='Reese' last='Stafford'], Caledonia

Stafford is getting a chance to step up this fall as the lead setter for Caledonia and has done just that. Stafford has 551 assists this fall to be among the state leaders. There's a nice mix of players on the receiving end of Stafford's feeds, as she's mixing up the offense well.

[player_tooltip player_id='511596' first='Brooklyn' last='Closson'], Coldwater

Closson is a combo player, but it's not keeping her from putting up big assist numbers this fall. She's at 539 assists while adding in 73 kills to her credit. She's already got a career-high in assists for the season.

Kylie Doherty, North Branch

Doherty is in her second season of running the North Branch offense and she's continuing to play at a high level with 529 assists. She's on her way to another 1,000-assist season, getting to work with one of the most prolific hitters in program history.

Amaya Torrez, Croswell-Lexington

Torrez has put up 517 assists this fall to lead the Lexington offense. She's working in a nice mix of various hitters and getting a better feel for her offense each week. Torrez is showing a lot of promise for where she can take her game.

Avah Vozar, Eaton Rapids

Vozar has been running the offense for the Greyhounds in recent seasons and is looking her best in 2025. She's got 463 assists on the season and quickly approaching a new high for a season. Vozar has done a nice job of getting good swings out of a pair of 200-kill hitters.

Ja'Kara Rincon, Adrian Madison

Rincon has recorded 461 assists this fall and is well on her way to a new career-high in assists in a season. Rincon is putting in the work to add new dimensions to her game and up her consistency level of her sets.

Bradie Lehman, Concord

Lehman has been running this Concord offense since she was a freshman and surpassed 2,000 career assists early in 2025. On the season, Lehman has 444 assists and is showing a lot of high-IQ plays on the floor.
