MN Section 8AAA Teams Head to the Final Face Off

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>After two sweeps in the 8AAA Semifinals the teams headed to the Section Championship are Annandale and Sauk Rapids-Rice. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>These two teams have only seen each other once this high school season and Sauk Rapids defeated Annandale 2-0. Both teams have strong rosters with big defenders and powerful hitters. Her ability to change her angle mid jump allows her to work around the defense. Lee is great at reading the opponents and getting up early to set a block and force the hitter into her hands. Her communication on the court helps her setter locate her and get her the ball. Her agility to transition quickly off the net allows her to get behind the setter and approach the ball with force. Her deep line shot gets around the blockers and goes over the opposing defense scoring multiple times. Lambaere is a dedicated player in the back row as well. She can quickly read her opponents and put herself in the position to make a play on the ball. Her ability to run multiple routes keeps her an option for her setter. Her communication helps the team stay in system and controlled. When blocking, Peterson moves quickly to set herself up in front of her hitter to get successful stops and touches to help the defense. Her hustle and control allows her to get to any ball and make it playable. When jump setting, she speeds up her offense making it difficult for the opponents to defend. She excels at moving her hitters around to create a strong offense that is hard for the opponents to read and anticipate their next move.
