The Motor City Power Series is one of the place to be for any one who is any one when it comes to Michigan volleyball. From the top teams in Division 1, all the way to the powers of Division 4! This is where the toughest come to get battle tested!

We're already on weekend 3 of 5 and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. With epic match-ups galore, we saw a lot of the state's top players shine bright and some of the underrated emerge through to make themselves known.

We're going to have to break this weekend down position by position, as there was just too much to talk about! Finally, we're to our last spot. It's the one's who can take out the trash when you need them the most. The outside hitters are a tier above the rest here at the Motor City Power Series. Buckle up, because we had a ton of talent on display out on the pins this weekend. Let's talk about them.

[player_tooltip player_id='226896' first='Madison' last='Geer'] - Frankenmuth

For very good reasons, [player_tooltip player_id='226896' first='Madison' last='Geer'] has become the center piece of this Frankenmuth team. From the first contact, to the last, Geer has a hand in just about all of it. She is one of the best passers in the field which opens up so much for herself and the Eagles. From her, she's go-to arm. Her craftiness at the net and through the back row attack is critical to the success.

[player_tooltip player_id='226876' first='Finley' last='Arp'] - South Christian

We got to get a good taste of what was being cooked up over on the West Side this weekend. Who better than one of the most effective senior attackers than [player_tooltip player_id='226876' first='Finley' last='Arp']? With an Arp on the roster, South Christian has been able to maintain in the conversations of the top teams in D2. Her arm is so heavy and has developed such range over the years. Whether she is on the left or the right side, Arp is a terminator.

[player_tooltip player_id='454364' first='Maiya' last='Heinemann'] - Saline

Without some key pieces to the hive this weekend, Saline was looking for some Hornets to step up their game. Look no further than [player_tooltip player_id='454364' first='Maiya' last='Heinemann'] when it comes to stepping up to the plate when your team needs it. In many ways, this was a breakout weekend for the undersized left side. She was crafting up all of the shots all day long. From chipping off of the blocks, to the pesky shots to the corners, as well as everyone's favorite, blast-aways, Heinemann was in a groove.

[player_tooltip player_id='706598' first='Soniah' last='Robinson'] - Woodhaven

[player_tooltip player_id='706598' first='Soniah' last='Robinson'] really be floating well above the rest when she gets going. One of the many undersized attackers on tap for this weekend's power series, Robinson is also one of the highest in the room! Despite a tough go, Robinson shines on the court with her leaping abilities. She's beginning to develop even more range than we've seen from her. No cross-court only shot her. Robinson is expanding her tool box and was having success on the line shot and off-speed shots.

[player_tooltip player_id='454368' first='Lexa' last='Pierson'] - Milford

There is so much that [player_tooltip player_id='454368' first='Lexa' last='Pierson'] does for this Milford team. The complete package of a player. She passes at an incredible rate and she backs that up with booming swings time and time again. As an upperclassman on this team, Pierson has developed into quite the emotional leader as well. Her ability to drive her team to wins was quite admirable.

[player_tooltip player_id='762838' first='Addi' last='Vagi'] - Marysville

Traditionally seen at the setter slot, [player_tooltip player_id='762838' first='Addi' last='Vagi'] is spending a lot of time as a six rotation outside hitter for Marysville this season. Needless to say, she is doing quite well in that role. No stranger to having her hand in the offense, Vagi is a leading scorer for Vikings. It was quite impressive to see her deliver as the team's outlet.

[player_tooltip player_id='569772' first='Lauren' last='Sheldon'] - Stoney Creek

From the middle to the pin, [player_tooltip player_id='569772' first='Lauren' last='Sheldon'] is a scoring machine. A middle during the club season, Sheldon is spending the bulk of her time on the pins for the fall. Regardless of where you put her though, she is delivering. For a large part, Sheldon is a driving force to Stoney Creek's success. She has a hammer for an arm and is developing quite the tool set with her range of positions.

[player_tooltip player_id='226899' first='Cree' last='Hollier'] - Mercy

At this point, there is simply not much that [player_tooltip player_id='226899' first='Cree' last='Hollier'] can't do. While on the ground, you may overlook her. But when she takes flight, she overlooks you. From the middle to now the outside, Hollier is thriving in her new found role. Her leaping abilities combined with her arm speed gives her such an advantage against competitors.

[player_tooltip player_id='839826' first='Elise' last='Biermann'] - Eisenhower

The more the season goes on, the more you are seeing [player_tooltip player_id='839826' first='Elise' last='Biermann'] round into full form again. As documented many times, Biermann is coming back from a late season injury almost 11 months ago on the day. Despite not jumping to her fullest vertical yet, Biermann is still capable of scoring points in many ways. This almost makes her more dangerous, as her IQ continues to develop while she comes to full health, it will be scary to think of what she is going to be able to do then.

[player_tooltip player_id='226894' first='Gina' last='Fedrigo'] - Eisenhower

Pin to pin action here for Eisenhower, When you have as an offensive threat on the right side as [player_tooltip player_id='226894' first='Gina' last='Fedrigo'] is, it really elevates your team's success. Fedrigo is especially finding herself another gear. In seasons past, she has been good for quite a bit of highlight reel kills but could very terminal in the error department as well. This fall looks to be Fedrigo at her best, she is finding ways to score beyond her banging ways and this bodes Ike extremely well going into the second half of the fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='226888' first='Aubree' last='Deshetsky'] - North Branch

This Miss Volleyball frontrunner continues to wow week in and week out. She is the epitome of a player that puts her team on her back and leads the way. [player_tooltip player_id='226888' first='Aubree' last='Deshetsky'] does it all. Whether she is passing near half of the court or chopping up a point winning shot off of an unideal ball, she is all over it. It wasn't the best of weekends for the Bronco's on paper, but against staunch comp, it was impressive to see Deshetsky and Co. continue to compete.

[player_tooltip player_id='888384' first='Allysse' last='Deshetsky'] - North Branch

Right alongside her big sis, there is a new Deshetsky in town and she is looking to become just as special. [player_tooltip player_id='888384' first='Allysse' last='Deshetsky'] is surely coming into her own as we round out into the second half of the season. Like I said, North Branch had some tough comp this weekend. For a wide-eyed rookie such as Allysse is, she held up well against some of the giants. She is finding her shots and seeing the court well. Come November, the Deshetsky duo could be one that really propels the Broncos back to Kellogg.

[player_tooltip player_id='779874' first='Sienna' last='Moeke'] - Traverse City Central

On the topic of freshmen, this is another one that is shaping up to have quite the career ahead of her. [player_tooltip player_id='779874' first='Sienna' last='Moeke'] and TC Central made the trek down to the power series and pushed a lot of teams. Moeke, just as a freshman, was unafraid of the giants that be in the Mercy's and the North Branch's. Her ability to find ways to score at the net was a treat. This proved to be a great learning curve for the North Michigan team, one that they can use their advantage come November.

[player_tooltip player_id='489939' first='Vivian' last='Jones'] - Brighton

[player_tooltip player_id='489939' first='Vivian' last='Jones'] has been really coming into her own in these last few months. This fall specifically, Jones is hitting her stride and looking like one of the top players in Michigan. With the absence of [player_tooltip player_id='828378' first='Riley' last='Copenhaver'], Jones has stepped up in major ways. An all-out, offensive dynamo, Brighton is trying to get the ball to Jones as much as possible. And she is delivering more times than not.
