New Additions to the Class of 2029- Vol. 2

<!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">The class of 2029 arrives for the 2025 high school season.</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Our Freshman of the Week segment lists six class of 2029 players on varsity for their teams this season. We will feature any player on the varsity squad; being on the court during a match is an accomplishment. Fraser has quick feet and is a hustling defender; she will get on the floor or chase down a defelection to save the team a point. The Falcons had to replace several members of last season's 3A Championship squad, and then suffered a few tough injuries in the early going. She is finding ways to score even on challenging sets, dropping a quick tip to an open spot or hammering the ball off the block. The Cougars are 9-3 and in second place in the 1A Trico League, behind undefeated La Center. Hastings has soft hands and solid location when she finds her talented attackers on the pins or running quickly to the middle. Prohn has the height and swing to be a significant contributor for the Bearcats in the future. She has shown the ability to find the court for kills from both pins and has played the middle in the club season as well.
