Section 6AA's X-Factors Moving to Quarterfinals Part 1

6AA consists of fourteen teams throughout Minnesota and therefore hold a first round giving the top two teams an automatic place in the Quarterfinals that will take place on October 24th. The twelve teams that competed in the first round pushed beyond their limits, but only six were able to move on. Below are standouts that helped make way for their team to continue their season.    Meyer is versatile with her routes and her attack. She transitions quickly off the net allowing her to run fast routes and be in a position to help play any ball. Her ability to swing around the blocker makes her opponents work to return the ball. Meyer has the ability to discreetly tip or roll shot the ball to an open spot leaving the defense helpless. She is a strong, loud, and positive force on the court and keeps the team moving forward.     Reuter works hard to get to every single ball that is intended for her. Her hustle and communication are unmatched on the court. She is persistent and dedicated to provide her offense with a ball that can aggressively be played over the net. Reuter makes her hitters move around by changing up their routes and plays, keeping their strategy unknown to their opponents. Reuter is a driving force for her team and bring a lot of energy to every play.     Voss is a noticeable entity for her team no matter her location on the court. As a setter she provides her hitters with many opportunities to run multiple routes. She hustles to every ball ensuring she has time to jump and set the ball fast to catch opponents off guard. As a hitter and blocker, Voss has strong footwork and a fast swing. Her sharp cut on the right side scores many points as her opponents struggle to block or defend the ball. Voss's positivity radiates on and off the court.     Rieland is quick and light on her feet. She approaches quickly to the ball allowing herself to swing high, over blockers, and fast. Because of her speed and agility, she pushes herself to run multiple routes and take advantage of where the defense is not. Her communication allows for her setter to find her from anywhere on the court to create a successful play. Rieland excels at reading the opponents offense and moves quickly to accurately set or close a block.     Borgmann has the ability to set the ball from any location on the court right to it's designated offensive player. Her speed and hustle get to any ball and her ball control allows for strategic plays to be made. Borgmann move around her hitters consistently keeping the opposing defense on their toes. Defensively she is ready for any ball to come her way and will control it flawlessly for a strong out of system play to be made. Her dedication and love for her team shows every point.
