As the 2025 MHSAA regular season comes to a close in the coming week, it's good to look back and see which players made a big impact this fall.

Here's a look at what seniors led the way in blocks (stats according to MaxPreps) during the 2025 season.

Isabella Lamley, Adrian Madison

This senior has really stepped up her game this fall when it comes to being a difference-maker on defense. She's put together 114 blocks on the year, making her the clear leader among seniors. She recently put up eight blocks in a two-set win over Onsted.

Sadie Knott, Zion Christian

This small-school middle is right on the verge of a milestone number with 99 blocks on the fall season. She's managed to do this over just 57 sets of action. Knott set the tone early on with 11 blocks in a win over Black River during the opening week of the season.

Mia Kuboushek, Chelsea

This 6-footer from Chelsea surpassed a solid junior year of 75 blocks by racking up 88 blocks thus far in 2025. She put up seven blocks in a sweep of Lincoln just two weeks ago.

[player_tooltip player_id='487356' first='Lucy' last='Monahan'], Bedford

The Kicking Mules have had their share of dominant middles and Monahan is playing great along the net this fall. She's approaching a career-high in blocks with 87 blocks this fall, just 10 shy of her junior mark of 97. Monahan posted a season-high eight blocks against Rochester last month.

[player_tooltip player_id='812559' first='Colby' last='Watson'], Lincoln

Watson has been really strong and steady with her blocking these last two seasons. She had 89 last fall and now sits at 81 blocks for the Railsplitters in 2025. She just recently hit her season-high with six blocks in a four-set win over Pinckney last week.

[player_tooltip player_id='226901' first='Madelyn' last='Hungerford'], East Grand Rapids

Hungerford has really raised her defensive play at the net this fall, putting up 80 blocks for EGR. She had a great outing last week in a five-set battle with Grand Rapids Christian, as Hungerford tallied 10 blocks in the match.

[player_tooltip player_id='811789' first='Brianna' last='Clouser'], Grant

The nearly 6-footer is putting in the work this fall to deflect and stuff as many opposing attacks as possible. She's at 72 blocks for the season and has been consistent at adding to her total each match, nothing a high of four blocks in four different matches this fall.

Maddie Ostrander, GR Catholic Central

Ostrander is near setting a new season-high total for herself with 70 blocks this season. She's upped her offensive production, but remains resilient defensively as well. Ostrander is on a 10-match streak with at least one block.

Kylie Hutchins, Mt. Pleasant

Hutchins has been a force for Mt. Pleasant throughout her career, as she has 215 career blocks. That includes 69 blocks in the 2025 season. She made a big statement in August with a seven-block performance against Fenton.

Marisa Vushaj, Regina/Kyla Charles, Caledonia

These two round out the list, each with 68 blocks on the fall season. Vushaj is coming off an 8-block performance in a win over Rochester last week. Charles just recently had a 10-block performance in a five-set win over Mona Shores.
