Sophomore Assist Leaders In 2025 Season

She's hit 45 assists on two occasions this year, including a four-set win over Bronson earlier in October.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='884605' first='Cece' last='Rybicki'], Grand Rapids Catholic Central</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>GRCC is having a great year and Rybicki has stepped up her game in a big way this fall. She's tallied <strong>912 assists </strong>for the Cougars while being consistently around 25+ assists each match. She recently hit a season high with 33 assists in a three-set match with Forest Hills Eastern.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Vivienne Kittleson, Berrien Springs</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Berrien Springs has been collecting a number of wins this fall thanks to the play of Kittleson. The sophomore has <strong>803 assists </strong>on the year. Her season-high performance was 40 assists in a five-set match with Dowagiac on Oct. 2.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='664290' first='Heidi' last='White'], East Grand Rapids</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>EGR has been playing against the top competition in the state all year and White has been answering the call with <strong>720 assists. </strong>She's surpassed 1,200 for her career and had a season-high 45 assists in a five-set win over Forest Hills Eastern last month.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='887818' first='Madison' last='Jewell'], Grosse Pointe North</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>GP North has gotten a nice boost out of the play of their sophomore setter. Jewel has <strong>692 assists </strong>on the year, spreading the ball out well. Jewel topped 50 assists in the last week with a 51-assist effort in a five-set win over Utica.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Sofie Sanders, Hudsonville</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Sanders is one of the talented young setters that Hudsonville has been consistently putting through the program over the years. She's got <strong>660 assists </strong>on the season for a team in the D1 title picture. Last week, Sanders was on a roll as she had 41 assists in a five-set win over Grand Haven, and 39 assists in a sweep of West Ottawa</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='574175' first='Payton' last='Woodruff'], Detroit Country Day</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The standout young setter is continuing where she left off as a freshman. She's got <strong>637 assists </strong>this fall while keeping DCD a top D2 contender. She's already past 1,600 career assists in her career. This fall, she had a season-high 43 assists in a five-set battle with Clarkston.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Peyton Rapes, Shelby</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>In need of some players to step up this fall, Rapes has answered the call for Shelby. The sophomore has <strong>566 assists </strong>in 2025. She managed to put up a season-high 33 assists last month when Shelby picked up a sweep of Hesperia.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='644142' first='Ava' last='Kiernan'], South Lyon East</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One of the exciting young players leading the way for the Cougars this fall, Kiernan has recorded <strong>535 assists </strong>as one of two setters in the SLE lineup. She's currently on an 18-match streak with at least 10 assists.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Andi Vincent, White Cloud</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Vincent is nearing a milestone number for the season with <strong>496 assists </strong>for White Cloud. The sophomore is improving each week and has had some of her best outings of the season in recent weeks. She put up 35 assists in a sweep of Montabella two weeks ago.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
