The freshman had a strong performance in her first-ever high school playoff match and made solid contributions to her team's victory. Doubling up as a setter and right side hitter, Koonsen displayed a solid all-around game and appeared well in different areas of the game. Her ball-handling was always on point and led her to end the match with 11 assists. On offense, Koonsen used her length and vision to put the ball down and registered three kills in six swings. She also had six digs, one block and one ace, earned during a long serving run that paved the way for Dawson's dominant win on set three.

The senior libero stepped up and led Dawson's back row with tremendous authority and efficiency. Thedford led her team in passes with ten and was frequently seen calling the shots in serve-receive. Her defense was also excellent as she displayed great agility and ball control to keep it off the floor, registering a team-high 23 digs. Thedford also did a great job every time she had to set in transition, showing confidence to use her hands and deliver the ball into accurate locations, even when she wasn't facing the target.

The senior had a solid shift in the middle and helped the Eagles dominate the net. Points' firepower was just too much for Travis' blockers and defenders and she was her team's second-best scoring option in the match, converting seven of her 12 swings into points. The middle was very alert at the net and did a good job of winning 50-50 balls and handling overpasses efficiently. Points also contributed to the team's victory with her solid blocking, which generated two points for her team.

The senior outside hitter was Dawson's top scorer in a match in which the team's entire offense delivered at a high level. Ranney used her length extremely well at the pin and was very efficient with her swings, putting the ball down in different ways and remaining consistent throughout the match. She had the most kills in the entire team with nine and made very few errors. Ranney played only the net rotations and also registered three passes and a dig in the team's victory.

The senior libero handled her back row duties well for most of the match. Anjous was excellent in serve-receive in the first two sets, not only doing a great job of delivering accurate passes to her setters, but also stepping up to cover teammates when they needed help. The libero also came up with impressive digs, showing excellent positioning and elite ball control. Monjous had some passing struggles at the start of set three and was taken off for a few minutes, returning in better form.

The senior middle was arguably Travis's most consistent player on the court, keeping her production level steady throughout the entire match despite facing a strong Dawson middle blocker pairing. Ojo had a nice presence at the net, responding quickly to overpasses and tight sets and converting them into points. She also made a solid impact with her blocking, moving quickly from pin to pin and getting off the floor in perfect timing to get stops. She wasn't set very often, but was very efficient when she did, swinging into nice angles to beat the opposing blockers.
