500 Assist Club Includes Several Western Kansas Setters

This is the third and final report (for now) on setters coming off impressive junior seasons.   This report features athletes who have not completed Prep Dig Profiles or are currently unranked, but were among the state leaders in assists.   Athletes are encouraged to claim and complete the information for their “Free” Profiles. Some schools don't post public stats, and the cutoff point for inclusion in this report was at least 500 assists. She has recorded 1,236 career assists. She is ranked No. 222 overall by Prep Dig Kansas.   [player_tooltip player_id='483921' first='Avery' last='Kauffman'], 5'4”, S, Central Christian, '27   Kauffman recorded 622 assists in 77 sets played. She has strung together three straight seasons with at least 600 assists and now has 2,004 career assists. She is ranked No. 124 overall in the Kansas Class of 2027.   [player_tooltip player_id='483918' first='Jill' last='Schmeeckle'], 5'10”, S/MB, Ingalls, '27   The unranked prospect from Ingalls is a tall setter who registered 608 assists in 95 sets played for the Bulldogs. She can also be an intimidator at the net as she has recorded 671 career digs and 143 blocks.   [player_tooltip player_id='905646' first='Akyra' last='Traver'], 5'6”, S, Marais des Cynges Valley '27   The Trojan setter has posted back-to-back seasons with at least 400 assists. She dished out 583 assists in 95 sets during her junior season.  She is currently unranked by Prep Dig Kansas.   [player_tooltip player_id='905647' first='Jocelyn' last='Ritter'], 5'5”, S, Oakley, '27   Ritter registered 581 assists in 102 sets for Oakley. She is currently an unranked prospect.   [player_tooltip player_id='757254' first='Sayler' last='Stapleton'], 5'4”, S, Meade, '27   Meade's Stapleton finished her junior season with 567 assists in 82 sets played for the Buffaloes. She is ranked No. 195 overall in the Kansas Class of 2027.   [player_tooltip player_id='905648' first='Kinley' last='Legleiter'], 5'8”, S, Olathe South, '27   Olathe South's Legleiter registered 562 assists in 86 sets played in her first season as the Falcons' primary setter. She is currently unranked by Prep Dig Kansas.   [player_tooltip player_id='905649' first='Ella' last='Potucek'], 5'7”, S. Hillsboro, '27   Potucek dished out 549 assists as a junior and has recorded 1,710 career assists. The Hillsboro prospect is currently unranked.   [player_tooltip player_id='905650' first='Brynn' last='Tarlton'], 5'3”, S, Hoisington, '27   Talton has dished out assists to one of the state's top-ranked hitters. She finished with 533 assists in 104 sets for the State Tournament-qualifying Cardinals. She has posted back-to-back seasons with at least 500 assists. She is ranked No. 224 overall.   [player_tooltip player_id='905652' first='Taylor' last='Kohl'], 5'7”, S, Ellis, '27   Kohl dished out assists faster than holiday shoppers buy bargains at Kohl's on Black Friday. She finished with 507 assists in 80 sets played for the Railroaders.
