Club Season is coming...Outside Hitters to Watch

The outside hitter role is more than just putting the ball away. These athletes carry serve receive, manage pressure, and often touch the ball more than anyone. The outsides below don't simply swing — they shape the rhythm of the match and the tone of the floor.    Anne Gregory brings length, lift, and a fluid swing that generates natural pace. She has a talent for hanging in the air and seeing the court — shaping her attack based on defensive shifts rather than committing early. Composed yet competitive, she has the presence of a player who knows exactly who she is on the floor. High ceiling, high consistency, high trust ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast     Adelynn is both voice and vision. She directs traffic with communication and leads through example with ball control. Her game blends timing, placement, and decision-making, always recognizing where to win the point rather than simply hitting hard. She plays with maturity and floor-awareness that strengthen every rotation she's in. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast     Bailey plays with a steady, grounded confidence. Her arm is smooth and her approach timing consistent, allowing her to hit in rhythm even when the play isn't perfect. She communicates early in serve receive, works to be available in transition, and thrives as a reliable scoring option deep into long rallies. Dependable, intelligent, and poised. ~ Samantha Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast     Long, dynamic, and assertive, Riley attacks with vision and athletic ease. She reads the block mid-air, using both power and finesse to keep defenses guessing. Her transitions are clean, her range wide, and her ability to step into six-rotation responsibility sets her apart. Her approach is explosive, and she stays intentional in transition — always prepared to be an immediate attacking option.
