Dramatic Semifinals: St. Vincent and Hermann Set for Rematch

The day kicked off with Class 2, showcasing some outstanding volleyball action. St. Vincent dominated New Covenant Academy, sweeping them with scores of 25-21, 25-19, and 25-21 to secure their spot in the finals. The second semifinal was a nail-biter, with Hermann pulling off a remarkable reverse sweep against East Buchanan, winning 25-27, 17-25, 29-27, 25-17, and 15-9.   Now, St. Vincent and Hermann are set for a rematch of last year's third-place match, which St. Vincent won.    Kate was a standout in the semifinal against New Covenant, showcasing her versatility all over the court. She tallied nine kills on 29 attempts and made six digs. She finished with seven kills at a .208 hitting percentage. With her height and ability to penetrate the block, she could become a formidable force.     Ashlyn has consistently delivered her best performances during the Final Four, and tonight was no exception. Her defensive skills were critical in Hermann's comeback, as she racked up 28 digs.     Kendyl was a joy to watch, particularly in the first two sets.
