MN Outsides Shaking the Court One Swing at a Time

These outside hitters are showing up and making big plays. When in need, they are able to score crucial points to keep the lead or win the set. All of these outsides have a high IQ and know how to make their opponents work.    Anderson can hit any area of the court and around any defense. By reading the blockers and defense, she sets herself up to score. Her fast transition off of the net allows her to make plays with in system and out of system balls. She approaches to the ball quickly attacking the ball high to get it over the blockers hands. Anderson is skilled defensively as well with her strong blocks and controlled passing. All around Anderson is a great teammate and skillful player.     Schultz is an incredible player that can perform a wide range of attacks towards her opponents. Her fast approach and swing makes it hard for the blockers to read and defend. By reading the defense she moves the ball around the passers to cause chaos. When passing, she has loud communication and control with her platform to get the ball to her hitter. She helps her team create multiple in system plays to increase their score.     Ogdahl has a killer line and cross court swing that easily gets away from her opponents. Her ability to make an aggressive play in any situation keeps rallies going. Her foot work when blocking get her to the pin quickly with time to read the hitter and place her block in front of her. She is able to create many stops and touches from her block to help her teammates and team. Ogdahl does a great jog defending the court with her communication and hustle. She runs down out of system plays and finds a way to get back in system. Ogdahl would make a great asset to any team.     Gugissberg's attacks are fast and hard to defend. She has a high snap that send the ball to the deep corner of the court where no defender is close enough to recover. Her positivity and dedication on the court help her connect with her teammates, especially her setter to create multiple successful plays. Gugissberg recognizes intense rallies and skillfully will read the defense and place the ball to score.     Schroeder's hard drives and ability to find the court creates success for her team. She consistently transitions quickly off the net and is ready for any ball to come to her. Her ability to get behind and create a strong attack during out of system plays makes her opponents work hard for every point. Her strong block forces opponents to work around her and attack where the defense is sitting. Schroeder is a great communicator and is all in when playing.     Lee has a sharp line swing that easily flies over the defense and in the court. Her fast approach and swing makes it hard for her opponents to read her hit and defend it. She can easily read the defense and place the ball in an open location. Lee's variety of shots makes her an excellent player and score frequently creating energy for the team. She has great passing control to keep tough serves in system. When defending she moves in line with the hitter to skillfully play the ball.
