Skilled volleyball players from all over the US travelled to Hillsboro, OR this past Saturday to show coaches and scouts what they are made of. Here are the middles from the class of 2026 to 2029 who showed up and played hard:
Silva is a dynamic middle, taking control of the net when she is set. She has long arms that can reach high for balls and has a good snap bringing the ball down to the floor.
Glynn is a shorter middle but has hops that puts her up there with the rest. She transitions fast, going to her setter and attacking the ball well.
Evaluations are normally subscriber-only but when an athlete subscribes, theirs becomes free for all readers.
Subscribing doesn't change who the Scout covers, it changes who gets to see it.
Patel works hard to get off the net and be an option for her setters. She has a great jump serve and puts up a solid block in the front row.

Fagerlie is a strategic middle, hitting off hands and always trying to make a play. She talks to her setters and always makes a point to get a hand on the ball regardless of the set.
Friedericks talks loud on the court, running plays and getting up in transition. She presses well over the net, taking up space as a blocker and trying hard to close seams.
