Stat Leaders on Day 2 of the 2025 MHSAA FINALS (D2/D3)

Division 2 kicked things off in quite dramatic fashion. A match that very much could've gone the way of five sets, alas Detroit Country Day, the reigning champs were able to outlast Grand Rapids Christian and overcome their impeccable serving. Flat Rock was able to take on Fremont pretty convincingly, despite the four sets, there was very little doubt in the outcome of the match.   In Division 3, we had ourselves another elite level match that rivaled that of yesterday's five set barn burners. The reigning champions in St. Mary Catholic Central had met their match with the red hot Kingsley Stags. The Stags entered this match on an incredible high, knocking out everyone from No. 1 ranked, Roscommon, to No. 7 Traverse City St. Francis and No. 10 Beal City. This one went the distance and was an outstanding match.   To end the day and rounding out the semifinal rounds of the MHSAA Tournament, Kalamazoo Christian made easy work of Saginaw Valley Lutheran. The Comets were able to ease their way into their third championship match in four years.   You never know what you may get coming into Battle Creek, but there is always amazing stories that come when you leave.
