Talent overflowing at the Class 4A Regional Playoffs

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As mentioned in Part One of Class 4A Regional Standouts who caught my eye, I was able to see 4 teams play over a course of 2 days, and a bunch of players stood out to me. Here is another crop of players who stood out during their Regional Semi-final and Regional Final games. Watching her in her game against Yorkville, she delivered some big kills. Played all around for the Oswego East team and showed an impressive skill set. A very well-rounded player, with a great swing, gets good extension on kills. She made play after play in the game I saw her play in. Had multiple kills, getting on top of blockers with her extremely impressive vertical. She is a smart player who uses all her physical attributes perfectly. Was playing against some 6-footers up front and she had no problem getting blocks, touches, and kill. She had a great feel for when to deliver her sets to whom and at what time. I didn't see very miss connections and most sets were delivered right on the money. She has super soft hands and a great touch. She also does some RS hitting for Yorkville. She has soft hands when setting and does a great job spreading the ball around to hitters. And when she played RS, she got some nice swings and kills during the 2 games. Great size at the Libero position at 6 feet tall, but had no problem making plays in the back row. Really great touch with her passes, delivering them right on point to the setter. She was never rattled and just kept making pass after pass right on the money. Sniffed out serves very well by showing and taking the serves.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I had a chance to see some really great volleyball over a span of two days. The talent level and competitiveness were really fun to see. Joliet West won the Regional title in a good game against Yorkville, and hats off to the Oswego East team, who will be one to watch for the next couple of years as well. Great talent in the state of Illinois, which promises to continue on.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
