Twenty Kansas Seniors Ready For Next Challenge

In one final push to cover the Kansas Class of 2026, here is the fifth and final report on 20 Kansas seniors who have played their last prep volleyball game.   Some will be playing basketball shortly, others will get ready for the club season, and some others might take time off before starting their college careers.   This is a down-and-dirty report on 20 Prep Dig-ranked seniors with unclaimed or incomplete Prep Dig Profiles. I saw just two of them play in person, but there are multiple players on this list I regret not getting to see play for their high school teams. Kudos to the coaches at these schools for sharing their team statistics publicly on MaxPreps.   Seven of the 20 have verbally committed to playing college volleyball. I will look for and anticipate updates on the recruiting status of the other 13. [player_tooltip player_id='808072' first='Olivia' last='Stein'], 6'0”, OH, Ingalls (Wichita State)   Stein is the best athlete in this class, whom I was not able to see play in person. She is a three-time member of the KVCA Class 1A DI State Tournament Team. She unofficially led all seniors in kills this season with 708. Stein finished with 2,640 career kills for Ingalls. She is verbally committed to Wichita State University.   [player_tooltip player_id='357543' first='Hayden' last='Grimes'], 5'9”, OH, Andale (Colorado State)   Grimes finished her prep career winning the Class 4A State Championship with Andale. She finished her senior season with 419 kills. She finished with a career total of 1,144 kills. She has verbally committed to Colorado State University.   [player_tooltip player_id='828315' first='Mason' last='Palace'], 6'1”, MB, Kapaun Mt. Carmel (Pittsburg State)   Palace is a player I scouted in the past but missed her this season. She finished her senior season as the team leader in kills with 350. She finished her prep career with 918 kills and 210 blocks. She is verbally committed to Pittsburg State University.   [player_tooltip player_id='808141' first='Jade' last='Xu'], 6'0”, OH, Emporia (Emporia State)   Xu's prep career has ended, but she won't have to travel far to play her college ball. Xu, ranked No. 26 overall, has verbally committed to Emporia State University. She recorded 431 kills in her senior season and finished with 1,320 career kills.   [player_tooltip player_id='830686' first='Caileigh' last='Kilgore'], 5'9”, OH, Louisburg (Pittsburg State)   Kilgore registered 296 kills in 99 sets played as a senior. She also added 25 blocks to her senior season stat line, giving her three straight seasons with at least 20 blocks. She finished her career with 672 kills and 422 assists. She is verbally committed to Pittsburg State University.   [player_tooltip player_id='731076' first='Hayden' last='Meats'], 5'10”, OH, Gardner-Edgerton (Washburn)   Meats finished her prep career with back-to-back seasons with 400-plus kills. She tallied 450 kills in 95 sets played this season. Meats has verbally committed to Washburn University.   [player_tooltip player_id='834891' first='Lilly' last='Like'], 5'8”, OH, Derby (Bethel)   I missed Like and Panther teammates this season. She posted her third straight season with 200-plus kills. She registered 213 kills in 88 sets played. She has verbally committed to Bethel College.   [player_tooltip player_id='800211' first='Kenna' last='Woods'], 5'11”, MB/OH, Inman   Wood led Inman in kills as a senior. She finished with 220 kills and 18 blocks this fall. Inman finished with a winning record but missed the State Tournament. Woods is ranked No. 51 overall by Prep Dig.   [player_tooltip player_id='839911' first='Kynlee' last='Hamel'], 5'10”, OH/MB, Concordia   Hamel's season ended in the Class 4A State Tournament, where the Panthers finished in third place. Her senior season stat line included 157 kills, 182 digs, and 240 serve receptions. For her career, her final numbers were 773 kills, 620 digs, and 633 serve receptions.   [player_tooltip player_id='830048' first='Ava' last='Smith'], 5'9”, OH, Valley Heights   Smith finished her senior season with 486 kills. She is another small school prospect I missed seeing this season. She recorded 1,646 career kills. She finished her prep career with the Class 2A State Runner-Up Mustangs with 150 blocks. She is ranked No. 55 overall. She was twice named to the Class 2A KVCA State Tournament team.   [player_tooltip player_id='489349' first='Kingzley' last='Ratzlaff'], 5'11”, S/OH, Hillsboro   Ratzlaff completed her senior season playing for a Class 2A State Tournament Team. She is a versatile athlete who has set and hit at different times in her career. She finished with 901 career assists and 1,052 career kills. She is ranked No. 66 overall in the Kansas Class of 2026.   [player_tooltip player_id='809460' first='Tinley' last='Travis'], 5'7”, DS/L, Maize   Travis was the defensive glue for Maize as a senior. She registered 451 digs and 566 serve receptions. She is an athletic prospect I saw in 2024, but missed seeing this year. Travis ranked No.  67 overall by Prep Dig Kansas.   [player_tooltip player_id='834345' first='Korryn' last='Bolen'], 5'10”, OH, Burlington   Bolen led the Burlington Wildcats in kills with 321 in 87 sets. That total gave her back-to-back seasons with 300-plus kills.  She finished 172 digs. her highest total since her sophomore season. She is ranked No. 68 overall.   [player_tooltip player_id='807995' first='Kennedy' last='Tobaben'], 5'10”, OH, Olathe North   Tobaben finished as North's leader in kills as a senior. She finished with 328 kills in 91 sets played. She recorded 796 total kills in four seasons. She had her best defensive season ever as a senior, recording 361 serve receptions and 210 digs.   [player_tooltip player_id='489668' first='Meka' last='Jennings'], 5'4”, S, Arkansas City   Jennings recorded 623 assists in her final prep season. She finished with 981 assists as Ark City's setter. She is ranked No. 71 overall by Prep Dig Kansas.   [player_tooltip player_id='730721' first='Ceeley' last='Friesen'], 5'6”, S, Smoky Valley   Freisen led Smoky Valley in assists and aces as a senior. She recorded 535 assists and 37 aces in 82 sets played. She finished her career with 1,318 assists and 536 digs. She is ranked No. 77 overall in the Class of 2026.   [player_tooltip player_id='731454' first='Addison' last='Watson'], 5'2”, S, Osage City   Watson's season ended on Hutchinson, as Osage City was a surprise qualifier for the Class 3A State Tournament. Watson dished out 660 assists in 88 sets played as a senior. She finished her career with 1,224 assists and 710 digs.   [player_tooltip player_id='731030' first='Emmy' last='Kirk'], 5'5”, S, Bucklin   Kirk helped guide the Red Aces to the Class 1A DII State Tournament as a senior. She finished the season with 724 assists in 75 sets played. Her career ended on the first day of the tournament in Emporia. She is ranked No. 81 and is a multiple-sport prospect.   [player_tooltip player_id='809586' first='Chloe' last='Kmiecik'], 6'1”, MB, De Soto   Kmiecik led the De Soto in kills as a senior with 332. She also recorded 91 blocks in 88 sets played. Her prep career totals included 216 blocks and 671 kills. She is ranked No. 97 overall.   [player_tooltip player_id='832565' first='Halle' last='Mizner'], 5'9”, OH, Rock Hills   Mizner finished her prep career as a member of the 1,000-kill club. She recorded 370 kills during her senior campaign and registered 1,078 over four years for the Grizzlies. She is ranked No. 98 overall by Prep Dig Kansas.
