Class of 2027 Players to Know Vol 1

At 6'1”, she possesses a frame that immediately impacts the net, giving her the ability to distribute efficiently while also being a legitimate scoring threat. This also helps her to be a valuable asset while blocking at the net.  Because of this, her coaches can have many lineup options to use if they want to go to a 6-2 or stay in a 5-1 system.  Peters shows strong hands and an understanding of tempo, allowing hitters to operate in rhythm and giving her team consistent offensive flow. I love how she runs her middles early and often to establish the aggressive quick tempo and keep the defense at home and not able to cheat toward a pin.  When attacking, she is aggressive and uses her length to challenge blocks, particularly in transition opportunities. Defensively, she moves well and competes hard at the net while continuing to develop her back-row awareness. At 5'8”, she uses her size efficiently, delivering consistent, hittable sets that keep her team in system and allow attackers to operate at full tempo. Penn shows advanced decision-making for her age, making smart choices under pressure and keeping defenses off balance. Her footwork and hand placement are polished, translating into clean transitions and minimal errors, even in out-of-system scenarios. Defensively, she competes with focus, moving quickly to cover tips and assists in serve-receive when called upon. At 5'10”, she combines solid size with clean mechanics, allowing her to deliver accurate sets across all attack lanes. She has always demonstrated advanced footwork and hand placement for her age, keeping hitters in rhythm and maintaining offensive efficiency even under pressure ever since she burst onto the scene during her freshman season. She competes actively in transition, adjusting quickly to off-system opportunities and maximizing scoring chances. Defensively, Garcia shows awareness and energy, contributing to serve-receive and floor coverage while maintaining her leadership presence. Her communication and competitive drive make her a stabilizing force for teammates.
