Elite 2030s: The Next Wave of Future Stars

The Class of 2030 in Nevada is already making noise before even reaching high school. These elite 8th-graders are showing advanced skill, physical maturity, and nonstop work ethic. From powerful pin hitters to high-IQ defenders and rising middles, this class is stacked with future varsity impact players and college-level talent. Here are seven Nevada 2030s on the radar.    Brooklyn is already physically and technically ahead of the curve at 5'8”, competing at the varsity level for Meadows Middle School. She has a heavy arm with a clean, explosive approach and thrives attacking the line. A true six-rotation player, Lee is dangerous from either pin and can score off the pipe from the back row. Additionally, she puts in time at the weight room, showing early dedication to development that will only speed up her rise. --Kantessa Bryant-Miller @prepdignv     Charlotte is a tough, physical outside hitter who already understands how to work the net. With a strong swing and the ability to mix in roll shots effectively, she keeps defenses off balance. At 5'9”, she also contributes on the back row, where she piled up a high ace count last season with Top Flight 13s. Now playing up on their 15s team, Slanker is showing that her potential extends well beyond her age group. --Kantessa Bryant-Miller @prepdignv     Zoey has been consistently standing out against older competition for a couple of years now, and her growth continues to impress. Her fire for the game shows in every rally, and her dedication played a major role in her team capturing a middle school championship. She plays with the polish of a seasoned libero, showing advanced reading skills, clean ball control, and relentless hustle. Zoey already plays to a championship standard, proving just how much work she's put into her craft from a young age. --Kantessa Bryant-Miller @prepdignv     Efuru is a rising middle who combines size, reach, and shot placement. She attacks high and finds corners with consistency, making her a tough matchup in the middle. A Nevada middle school state champion with Meadows, Nwapa separates herself with effort outside of team training, putting in extra reps to sharpen her skills and improve every detail of her game. --Kantessa Bryant-Miller @prepdignv     Jillian is a high-level student-athlete already standing at 5'11” in the eighth grade. A pin hitter in school play, she thrives in out-of-system situations and attacks with intent, driving the ball hard to the floor. She also brings middle-blocker experience from club, giving her an edge as a blocker and net defender. With a 3.9 GPA, Oceregua brings both power and discipline to everything she does. --Kantessa Bryant-Miller @prepdignv     Harper is a complete six-rotation weapon with the ability to hit hard cross or line and score effectively in transition. She is reliable in out-of-system situations and adds value with her back-row attack. Her float serve creates pressure, and her clean passing platform allows her to contribute immediately as a primary passer. Whether on the outside or right side, Phillips is a steady offensive threat. --Kantessa Bryant @prepdignv     Olive first turned heads at Next Level last season while helping her team capture the AAU Emperor's Cup in the 13U division and a first-place finish at Red Rock Rave in 13 American. A major contributor on that championship squad, Bradley brings a powerful swing and attacks both pins with confidence, but really shines on the right side. She is a six-rotation athlete who also scores from the D-ball in transition.
