We're rounding out the year, and the recruiting out of the state of Michigan has been so much fun to watch!

The 2027 class was the talk of the town this year, as Michigan continues to upgrade in talent, skill and depth of players competing throughout the state. The 2027 group was one to watch. With that being said, so many 2026s were still up for grabs and have found their home this year. 2026 right around the corner, we shall be seeing much more announcements roll in.

Commitments flying left and right, it was hard to keep up with who was going where. No need to worry though, because we have you covered. Let's take a look at another addition of Commitment Catch-Up.

5'11 OH - Plymouth Christian/Michigan Elite

[player_tooltip player_id='226911' first='Riley' last='Pilat'] has just capped off an incredible high school career with Plymouth Christian. Acting as a mainstay in the starting line up throughout her four years, Pilat has seen action in the middle, to the pins and in all six rotations. In each position, she has led the Eagles to four consecutive regional final appearances, sprinkling in a few wins in there.

From the Eagles of PCA, Pilat will become a Golden Eagle with Cornerstone University. The West Michigan NAIA program is currently coming off of an incredible 2025 season. The Eagles earned top WHAC honors and a berth to the NAIA National tournament. Cornerstone has become a mainstay atop their conference and has consistently been a part of the national conversation. With a player like Pilat being added to the roster, you can assure that they will stay that way for years to come.

[player_tooltip player_id='442999' first='Olivia' last='Berishaj'] to Hillsdale

5'11 MB/RS - Utica Eisenhower/Legacy

Hillsdale is one of the premier Division 2 programs out of Michigan. They have just added on a very promising talent that could help continue their winning ways. A 2x Open National Champion and quite the career at the high school level, [player_tooltip player_id='442999' first='Olivia' last='Berishaj'] could be exactly what the Chargers are looking for to bring themselves back to the national stage.

It's hard to say just exactly where Berishaj will be inserting herself best at with Hillsdale. She has played just about every position along the front line and has found success in each position. As of late, Berishaj has been spending a lot of time out on the pins. Her quick arm bodes itself well to a fast offense and she can bring the energy on the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='804803' first='Avery' last='Stewart'] to Troy

6'0 MB/RS - Midland/Michigan Elite

The Sun Belt conference has been having itself one heck of a time with these Michigan kids. From Cambria Gaier earning Freshman of the Year honors with South Alabama, to Kennedy Louisell breaking kills records at JMU and Erin Madigan leading Arkansas State to the NCAA Tournament, the Michigan kids thrive in this conference. Troy University has picked up on this and has found theirs to add to the mix. Entering the chat is [player_tooltip player_id='804803' first='Avery' last='Stewart'].

This 6'0 middle blocker is one that can really be labeled as an imposing threat. She is coming off of an incredible season with Michigan Elite 16-2s team. So much so, Stewart has been called up to the Mizuno squad this coming season. Stewart is a dynamic, quick twitched player in the middle that can be quite a live wire. She can even slot herself into the pin and do great work, as well. Troy has been on the bubble of making some big noise in the SBC and this could be a recruit that can burst that bubble.

[player_tooltip player_id='808059' first='Nadia' last='Prieditis'] to North Alabama (Beach)

6'0 OH - Grand Haven/MVA

It's not often that you hear of Michigan kids coming out of high school and jumping straight into the collegiate beach scene. But if there is any program to have that kind of player, it is going to be Grand Haven. Indoors, [player_tooltip player_id='808059' first='Nadia' last='Prieditis'] is coming off of an electric senior campaign for the Buccaneers. Second on the team in point scoring and a focal point in the team's ball control efforts, when watching her play, you can see the potential in her beach game.

[player_tooltip player_id='487079' first='Jillian' last='Gibbs'] to Albion

6'0 MB - Orchard Lake St. Mary/L2

Albion College Volleyball is coming off of one of its best seasons in program history. It looks as though, they're looking to keep the good times rolling with [player_tooltip player_id='487079' first='Jillian' last='Gibbs'] being added to the 2026 class. With a 24-5 record, Albion had a historic season that saw their losses come at the hands of nationally ranked and deep tournament running teams, Calvin and Hope. They're cooking here and will look to only capitalize on this kind of season.

Gibbs in the middle is a presence that could really do well at the next level for the Brits. She has a fast arm and runs a really nice ball in front of the setter. Her block has grown tremendously throughout the years as well. Gibbs has become an emphasis in both her high school and club teams, leading OLSM to consecutive District titles these last few years. With her experience, Gibbs could do a lot of damage in Division 3.
