We couldn't leave out the pins and middles, right?

Our post-showcase coverage has delved into several stout outside attackers and middle blockers already. We've tabbed an all-event team and discussed a few surprise stars from last weekend's outing. Despite this, we still have more pins to highlight.

These position groups are always ones to watch on the Prep Dig Circuit. Sure, it's a bit of a numbers game with these spots making up a large chunk of the total athlete contingent. That won't stop us from finding unique talents among the masses.

You don't have to go far back in time to find the last time Pruter was featured on our site. Her combination of explosiveness and ball control skills helped Cross County reach this year's state tournament, and Pruter continued her ascent in the postseason. So, we were not surprised to see Pruter leverage the same versatility when she competed alongside some big-city stars at Saturday's showcase. We love to see rural gems sparring with the best.

Not many Nebraska 2029s posted numbers like Sherbeyn this fall. The freshman pin hitter averaged an eye-popping 4.6 kills per set in her Valentine debut, amounting to over 400 total terminations in the regular season. This resulted in one of the most dramatic upticks in the win column on Nebraska's prep stage. Valentine vaulted from six wins to 23, putting the Badgers on a dramatic upward trajectory in the northern reaches of the Cornhusker State. Sherbeyn's heavy-handed dominance continued at our showcase and will not wane in 2026.

How about a Hawkeye State crossover? We're always excited to get some Iowa entrants at our Omaha-area showcases, and Myler added to the list of interstate stars in Elkhorn. She's a springy, twitchy pin hitter who meshed best with setters who could deliver the ball with tempo. We even saw Myler's strength on the '2' ball in the middle of the net, layering another route into her vast repertoire. Myler will cross the river again to represent Nebraska Elite 15-1 during the club season.

Club Legacy gems have been a staple of our most recent showcases, so we might as well find a few more. Bowman is an ideal fit for a showcase environment. She has a rare medley of skills as someone who can score on the right side or lock down the end line as a defensive specialist. Backcourt drills bring some of the fastest pace we see on the Exposure Tour, allowing us to see which athletes can handle the pressure. Bowman was up to the task.

Harlan is a jack-of-all-trades in the front row. We saw her prowess as a middle blocker during her freshman season with Omaha Westside, culminating in another Warrior trip to the Class A semifinals. However, Harlan's tenure at our Exposure Tour completely rewrote our scouting report. She took extensive reps as a pin hitter and was willing to take a rip at any ball she was given. Converted middle blockers often struggle with out-of-system termination, but Harlan's creativity on the left side was a highlight of Saturday's showcase. We'll see which positional designation takes precedence when Harlan suits up for Nebraska Elite's top 15s squad this spring.

How about another pin-middle hybrid from the Class of 2029? Bauer joined us from Grand Island, adding to some spectacular central Nebraska representation in Elkhorn. She has already made an impression in the [program_tooltip program_id='428743' first='VCNebraska' last=''] gym, and Bauer added to her ledger with some efficient offensive production for the Vikings. This will be a player to watch heading into 2026, especially with [program_tooltip program_id='428743' first='VCNebraska' last=''] middle blockers gaining momentum across the board.
