The Prep Dig Exposure Tour included plenty of strong defensive talent.

That included a lot in the Class of 2028

Here's the second of our 2-part look at this group of prospects.

[player_tooltip player_id='697452' first='Maylie' last='Mullins'], Ottawa Lake Whiteford/Michigan Elite

A long defender at 5'11”, Mullins is able to cover a lot of space in a quick amount of time. She managed to keep herself low to the ground despite her length, which made her someone that was tough to get the ball down against.

[player_tooltip player_id='761443' first='Meg' last='Schreur'], South Christian/FaR Out

Schreur has a lot of good tape, as she makes good and definitive choices in the back row. She knows when to turn on the jets to make a diving dig, but she also knows when she just needs a simple adjustment to make a clean pass.

[player_tooltip player_id='917442' first='Madelyn' last='Good'], Saline/Legacy

Good did a good job of communicating throughout the showcase, calling other people off and directing the hectic traffic well. She moves with a lot of purpose, but also stays light on her feet to keep herself in good position.

[player_tooltip player_id='887162' first='Lyla' last='Russell'], Imlay City/Michigan Elite

Russell showed good athleticism in all phases of the game. She displayed the quick reaction time and sprawling ability to make some really challenging plays. When the time called for her to make a swing, Russell had impressive form.

[player_tooltip player_id='579164' first='Ava' last='Rewalt'], Richmond/Michigan Elite

Rewalt brought great energy and enthusiasm to the showcase. She gave her full effort in every rep and every point, and that energy she brought was infectious to her peers. Rewalt made some of the top defensive plays of the days and never slowed her effort.

[player_tooltip player_id='919364' first='Jayda' last='Guyton'], Renaissance/Michigan Elite

Guyton was a prospect that stayed light on her feet and moved well around the floor. She didn't get caught off-balanced or in a bad position very often. When the ball came her way, she was able to square up and make a lot of smooth deliveries to the setter.

[player_tooltip player_id='919999' first='Katherine' last='Cobeen'], Lakeview/Midwest Select

Cobeen did a good job of leaving everything she had on the floor. There was no questioning her effort throughout the showcase and she did a good job of trying to take the lead at times. She's got a good foundation to continue to build her game on.

[player_tooltip player_id='919161' first='Sydney' last='Rosnik'], L'Anse Creuse/Legacy

Rosnik brought a lot of poise to the showcase. She always had a calm and cool demeanor, even during some hectic reps. That kept her focused and her technique sharp. Rosnik was a very consistent performer.

[player_tooltip player_id='919000' first='Kenzie' last='Marshall'], Chippewa Valley/Crank It

Marshall was another hustle player in this group, which wasn't surprising. Each player seemed to help take their peer's play up another level. Marshall showed good pursuit of the ball and was making sure not to stay in the same place for long. Her footwork and effort will help her keep improving as a libero.

[player_tooltip player_id='587006' first='Hope' last='Purwadihardja'], Plymouth/Michigan Elite

Purwadihardja played with a lot of intensity and she was engaged with her peers and coaches throughout, taking in each lesson she could possible learn. She then did a good job of applying new traits to her game, showing how coachable she is. Purwadihardja left a better player than when she arrived.
