The Prep Dig Exposure Tour stopped in Michigan on Sunday with one of its best showcases yet.

There were a lot of talented players competing, including the 2028 crop of outside hitters.

Here's the first of our 2-part look at this group of prospects.

[player_tooltip player_id='887795' first='Emmy' last='Poll'], Hudsonville/FaR Out

Poll is a 5'10” outside that can take over with her hitting as well as with her defense. She is a hustle player in every sense of the words, making endless plays in the back row through her effort. On the attack, Poll can really climb the ladder to attack well above the net.

[player_tooltip player_id='581597' first='Rylan' last='Morris'], Frankenmuth/Five:1

Morris has a good approach to the net, as she can cover a lot of space with her long frame. She's consistent in her swing technique and puts steady power on the ball. There's room to dial up the attacks with a little more intensity, but that should come in the years ahead.

Molly Smith, Goodrich/Five:1

Smith shows the ability to make some key plays in all aspects of the game. She puts a lot of effort into her play, which will help her as she continues to sharpen her technique and find more consistency. She's got the athleticism to take her game to the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='732306' first='Reese' last='Williams'], Roscommon/Mid-Michigan Aces

Williams shined in our fall showcase and did so again on Sunday. She's got a great follow through on her swing to deliver consistent power, but her athleticism and agility allow her to mix up speeds and attack at sharp angles. She's also a very reliable defender and great with serve receive.

[player_tooltip player_id='628137' first='Gianna' last='Vettraino'], Eisenhower/Legacy

Vettraino had plenty of patience, in a good way. She approached her attacks and her drills in a composed manner and made sure she got steady swings on her out-of-system balls as opposed to forcing an aggressive swing. When she got a good look at the ball, she unloaded on it.

[player_tooltip player_id='812936' first='Ella' last='Roslund'], Sacred Heart Academy/Mid-Michigan Aces

Roslund had steady form on her swing, but did a good job of turning up the intensity when the time called for it. Coming from a smaller program, Roslund knew she had to bring a little something extra while competing in this showcase. It was good to see her find success in spotlight moments.

[player_tooltip player_id='849996' first='Tianna' last='Sutherland'], Seaholm/High Performance

Sutherland had some of the best swings of the showcase, in my opinion. She had some of the most impressive jumps off the floor, hanging in the air while waiting to unleash on the ball, and unleash she did. Sutherland played aggressive, but with confidence and control.

[player_tooltip player_id='787419' first='Emilee' last='Farkas'], Marshall/Team Pineapple

Farkas showed a lot of good footwork, both on offense and defense. She moved with purpose and had a great first step in making a tough defensive play. When it came to her attacks, she had a smooth follow through that added another extra boost to her kills.

[player_tooltip player_id='839913' first='Morgan' last='Borodychuk'], Mt. Pleasant

Borodychuk has shown that she can take over a match at the high school level already, and she brought that same power and performance to the showcase. When she gets locked in and in a groove with her swing, there isn't many that can keep up with her.

[player_tooltip player_id='724836' first='Addison' last='Weber'], Ubly/Legacy

Weber took a little time to find herself in this showcase, but it was good to see her shake off the early nerves and prove what she is capable of. Weber sees the court really well and can spread her attacks anywhere along the net. Defensively, she makes good choices and anticipates the ball well.
