<p>We're rolling along with our 2026 Club Team Preview series here on Prep Dig Iowa. The goal is highlighting as many teams as possible before we get the season underway next month. Then we'll shift to scouting reports and roundups from real matches.</p>

<p>Iowa is known for producing volleyball players for the next level for several reasons. That they hail from all parts of the state certainly factors in. </p>

<p>Northwest Iowa contributes a lot of quality prospects to the group. The prep teams compete at a high level as do the club programs, like Northwest Iowa Premier. It's 16U Black squad should be formidable in 2026. </p>

<p>Cherokee Washington libero [player_tooltip player_id='918847' first='Ireland' last='Kennedy'] piled up 375 digs this season when the team reached the state tournament. The sophomore added 51 assists, showing she could set her teammates up for direct success. </p>

<p>A pair of Kennedy's classmates will join her on NWI 16U Black. Laityn Riley spent most of the season in the Cherokee Washington rotation, contributing 34 kills, 42 digs and 11.0 blocks. Bryn Lewis also saw varsity time in 2025. </p>

<p>South O'Brien leaned on sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='817813' first='Raegan' last='Plagge'] this season. She led the Wolverines with 190 kills (.230), and added 33.0 blocks and 80 digs. She'll be joined by her classmate, [player_tooltip player_id='819945' first='Tori' last='Schueller'], who contributed to the cause with 86 kills, 47.0 blocks and 38 digs. </p>

<p>Lauren Koenig enjoyed a fine freshman campaign at Spencer. The ninth-grader came up with 128 kills and 46.0 blocks. She added 37 digs. </p>

<p>Lilly Rodman played a key role as a sophomore on the East Sac County varsity. The 10th grader came up with 213 digs, adding 14 assists. </p>

<p>Alli Leng was very good for the Sheldon varsity as a sophomore in 2025. She registered 150 kills (.220) and 27.0 blocks. </p>

<p>Delaney Evans flashed all-around ability as a sophomore on the Kingsley-Pierson varsity. MMCRU's Tori Treinen got her feet wet as a 10th-grader on the varsity. </p>
