2026 Club Team Preview: Iowa Impact 16-1 Elite

The goal is highlighting as many teams as possible before we get the season underway next month. This year's 16-1 Elite squad shapes up to be among the most competitive in its age group for this coming club season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='789386' first='Hanna' last='Fouch'] is coming off of an excellent sophomore season for Greene County. She led the Rams with 228 kills (.234), and added 51 digs and 8.0 blocks. Impact lists her as an outside hitter. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Abrianna Mass is an outside hitter on the Impact roster. She developed within a Pella program that reached the Class 4A state semifinals for a second year in a row. With graduation losses, Mass can take a step forward into more playing time on the prep level with a strong upcoming club campaign.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Impact boasts another capable pin in Julia Turnquest. The sophomore spent the 2025 prep season developing on the Urbandale junior varsity and should be ready for a step forward in club play. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='728886' first='Lilly' last='Huntrods'] work her way into playing time as a sophomore on the Ballard varsity. The sophomore came up with 41 digs in 26 sets. She's prepared to solidify Impact's back row. The Impact back row also will have the valuable services of Taylor Gilbreath. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Des Moines Lincoln is looking forward to the future after getting a super sophomore season from [player_tooltip player_id='814620' first='Jumi' last='Kayode'] in 2025. She led the Railsplitters with 154 kills (.225) and 70.0 blocks. She'll be a factor in the middle for Impact, too. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='819822' first='Tenley' last='Fried'] started as a sophomore in a usually sound Bondurant-Farrar program in 2025. She chipped in 123 kills, 43.0 blocks and 72 digs. She and Kayode provide Impact with a pair of impactful middle hitters.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The right-side will be in good hands with Fried's Bluejay classmate [player_tooltip player_id='896589' first='Kaylee' last='Hanson']. As a sophomore this fall, she piled up 149 kills as a starter. She led Bondurant-Farrar with 59.0 blocks and added 32 digs.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Adalynn Harms is a third sophomore from Bondurant-Farrar showing up on the Impact roster. She spent the 2025 campaign working as a setter and opposite pin for the Bluejay junior varsity. A strong club season could lead to her taking over as her high school varsity's setter next year. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Amelia Cook ran the show as Coon Rapids-Bayard varsity setter this fall. The sophomore handed out 643 assists and came up with 178 digs. She added 30 kills and 6.0 blocks as a well-rounded player at the position. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
