The goal is highlighting as many teams as possible into this early part of the season. They appeared to be squads that can compete at a high level.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As good as they might be, however, 15U could have the highest ceiling among the organization's high school players. It features some of the state's top competitors in the age group.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>That starts in the middle of the net with Cedar Falls freshman [player_tooltip player_id='781517' first='Hadassah' last='Smith']. She's packed with potential, which was evidenced by her 259 kills (.316) and 74.0 blocks as a ninth-grader facing Class 5A competition. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Fellow middle [player_tooltip player_id='887022' first='Quinn' last='Sweeney'], along with pin [player_tooltip player_id='893087' first='Kate' last='Limbaugh'], were two of only four freshmen to be named to the coaches all-state teams this past season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Sweeney played a starring role in helping Janesville reach the Class 1A state title match. The ninth-grader paced the Wildcats in kills with 325 (.340) and blocks (66.0). Limbaugh tallied a team-high 387 kills (.265). She ranked second in digs (252) and blocks (34.0). </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='889843' first='Paige' last='Davis'] was one of nine freshmen to earn all-district recognition from the coaches. The Hudson standout led the Pirates with 240 kills (.161), and she chipped in 218 digs and 30.0 blocks. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Sumner-Fredericksburg received key contributions from freshman [player_tooltip player_id='785394' first='Hannah' last='Buhman']. A setter by trade, she topped the Cougars with 375 kills (.310), and chipped in 97 assists, 95 digs and 24.0 blocks.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='776054' first='Espyn' last='Decker'] put together a strong season for Wapsie Valley during the fall. Penciled in as a libero on the Six Pack 15 roster, she ranked second on the Warriors with 283 digs, while adding 77 kills. Isabella Sorenson is listed as the libero for Six Pack 15.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='897159' first='Madison' last='Burkhardt'] saw action as a freshman on the Cedar Falls varsity this season. She spent the rest of the time developing in the program's lower levels, preparing for greater contributions in 2026. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Andie Haun worked on her game with the Western Dubuque freshman team this past season. Setter [player_tooltip player_id='826318' first='Norah' last='Blanchard'] did the same for the Cedar Falls ninth-grade team. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The majority of this roster finished 11th out of 36 teams in the USA Division at USAV Nationals as Six Pack 14 in 2025. The 15U team performed well competing in the 15/16 Division at the QC Showdown last weekend with its only setbacks coming against the top 16 squads at Select and CIA. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
