Dynamic Defenders in the 2028 Libero Rankings

The top part of the libero prospects in the update rankings are excellent overall players who can do just about everything you could want out of a libero prospect. Serve receive, defense, and out-of-system setting- they are all an important part of these libero games. We profile our top three here, along with several others throughout the rankings update.

Bentosino remains the top libero in the updated rankings; her combination of control and quickness as a defender and rock-solid passing in serve receive is special. There are other liberos who may have similar speed and skills to get to swings and off-speed; Bentosino gets there and then gives her setter something to work with from almost any body position. She is playing with the Space Needle 17's; she will be a big part of their plans as they work for a bid, starting at Northern Lights this weekend.

Iseminger was a defensive lynchpin for Lake Stevens' outstanding 4A State Championship run and has moved into the #17 overall position in the rankings.
